“Quirky Friendly and Great Food”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

Called in on a Thursday at around 6 o'clock. Place was busy but we easily found a table and a very helpful waitress brought us menus straight away. Plenty choice of food. Can highly recommend the pizzas. Tasty fresh and cooked to perfection. The chips and battered cauliflower were amongst the best that I have had. Not a place to go to if you are all dressed up looking for a posh night out but definitely the place to go for great food and excellent service. Give it a try as it is a little bit different from your usual pizza or burger joint. Great value for money.

“Different and very good”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

Went to the Dat Bar 2 days running. First with my son for a drink and something to eat early evening and loved it. Well impressed with the many beers on offer and the food is different from other eateries in the centre of Newcastle.
Great choice of burgers at £7 , would recommend the Italiano which is very very tasty , fat chips £3 make a good side and they are very good.
Second visit for lunch the next day with my wife and we shared a selection of the smaller bites on offer. The pulled pork slider is superb !!
On both visits the staff were very friendly and the food was served promptly.
The eating area is separate from the bar and is very comfortable and you can enjoy listening to really good music which isn't too loud.
Try it out , you won't regret it.

“Delish!”
Reviewed 27 July 2014

We found Dat Bar by chance after looking for somewhere to eat after our shopping trip, the decor was different and very interesting, the place had a lovely feel to it. We sat in a boothed area and menus were quickly brought over to us, the waiter took our order and brought drinks, the food was delish we got pizza and chips yum. Staff were friendly and helpul, I would recommend Dat Bar to friends when they are in the area.

Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

Bloody lovely burgers and a truly amazing choice in beer. The dat burger is lovely an amazing combination of sweet and salty especially when combined with the beef dripping fries. The joe burger is also amazing with the gerkins and mustard. Cant fault it the service is good and the food even better!!
