It's been a couple of years since I'd last eaten at El Coto and it's still the best tapas I've had outside of Spain. We went in early evening to reserve a table for later as it was a Saturday night and the restaurant was already filling up. We sat inside although there were outdoor tables, great atmosphere, good Spanish beers and a good choice of tapas, a million times better than certain chain tapas restaurants which lack flavour. The lamb in red wine stew was spot on, wished we'd ordered one each instead of one to share, under £40 for two with beers and 7 dishes to share, not sure if it's just typical North East prices or if this is just a gem of a restaurant but we'll be back for sure.
