we've been customers of Khans for years, the family run business are very friendly and always ensure w ehave delicious food, my OH is from Leeds and swears by a punjabi chicken masala which he always asks Samir to make, we have eaten in and takeaway and can't fault the food or service, i think over 8 years we've had 2 mix ups with orders and the guys are so apologetic and make it up the next time...at 1 point we were eating from there once a week...i personally love the chicken tikka jalfrezi or if on a diet the chicken shaslick, great food, great service!

The curry at Khans is exceptional. Without a doubt high quality ingredients are used throughout, a real authentic taste and flavours are really evident here. The interior is also to match the quality of food and service. Fantastic night, food and service, easily the best curry in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Thanks for a lovely evening and we will be returning soon!

The food, service and value for money here were all very good and the only thing stopping this review from being 4 stars (or 4 circles) is that we got the worst table in the entire restaurant.

On the very edge of Khan's is a small table closely situated between the toilet and kitchen entrances (so you can people-watch the human traffic and guess who didn't wash their hands). This table is positioned exquisitely badly - I felt more like a busboy catching a quick break before heading back into the kitchen to clean tandoors than I did a paying customer. It almost makes you feel like you're on the outskirts of the restaurant, a phenomenon I have never come across before. That was our table.

The takeaway menu is great and I would go again, but that is a bad table.
