Visited last night and was a great experience. The table next door had something interesting looking and when we asked what it was we were told it was from 'the other menu' which duly appeared. This consisted of tick boxes for various meats (including weird and wonderful offal type stuff), fish, veg etc and one for heat ranging from medium to very very hot. The meal consisted of a hot serving dish with the meats cooked in chilli and garlic oil and was amazing!

Very reasonably priced with friendly service and a nice atmosphere too. Will go back!

First time here today, seated at a lovely table of choice, service was excellent, and the food was amazing, hot and didn't wait long at all. Nothing was a problem and altered choices for us fussy eaters. Lovely decor, very clean, everyone so polite. I can't wait to return

Fast service and delicious food. Waiters are quite helpful. In addition the prices are reasonable. I would recommend the crispy noodle with beef.

Been here twice, the first time there was 2 of us and the second time in a large group of 13 (was supposed to be 9 but the numbers increased which they were more than happy to accommodate for). Both times the food was excellent, didn't take long to come at all and the staff were really attentive and helpful. We had some young kids and a disabled relative on the larger trip and they were really patient and understanding and offered us little things that really made our night a lot easier and more enjoyable!! If you are in Newcastle and want generous portions of really nice, well priced food that please go to Amaysia. There Is one thing I will note and that is that they didn't do the little 'V' next to all the vegetarian food (they had one small section but a bunch of other stuff was vegetarian like starters etc wasn't marked). I would have probably been more inclined to order something a bit different or more interesting from the specials menu had I been 100% positive that it was vegetarian. Just something to bear in mind, I think. It didn't make my experience any worse.

The food is excellent, they serve big tasty portions in reasonable price. We had dinner there two days in a row, and staff took care of us all the time, they are very helpful and friendly. I found this place on trip advisor, I would definitely recommend it, and come back if I visit Newcastle again!
