My family and I were in Newcastle for 3 days and thankfully discovered this brilliant restaurant near St James' Park. The decor was beautiful (the manager even spoke to us about designing it!), the service was amazing and friendly, and the food was astonishing.

We enjoyed every part of our visit so much we went twice! Couldn't recommend more!

Its our 2nd visit to this restaurant, and will keep on coming back for the best hotpot. You choose what you want in your hotpot, and then you'll be stuck as you duck into it. Worth coming back to!

Went there twice in a row. Friendly service by Superdry Tshirt waitresses. The hot and sour soup is very nice. Most dishes come with boiled rice. Ask for the rice separate otherwise they will mix it up. The chicken Kung pro is nice and spicy and the lemon chicken the kids love. Also tried the prawn Chinese style. Overall nice and friendly and reasonable. Try the bubble tea if you want. Nice Asian restaurant with a twist.

Me and my partner visited Newcastle from London, so first time at Amaysia, we both enjoyed our meals and would come again on a next visit!

As the title says, had the chicken satay and a traditional village dish. The satay was good and spicy and although the trad chicken was boiled the whole dish was really very good. Other tables were sharing hot pots, the house speciality and I look forward to trying that next time.
