Had an excellent meal here with friends on a Saturday evening. All the dishes were done with great care, and therefore a cut above typical gastro-pub fare. Slightly more expensive, but definitely worth it. A nice atmosphere, even though it was a rainy evening and we couldn't sit out on the terrace. Fennel and smoked haddock pot for starter, and calves liver with bacon that was perfectly cooked. Good wine list.
