We have stayed here twice now, as it has been a great location for leamington and Warwick uni where we have seen various artists.
Our latest stay was extremely pleasant.
Location.
- Very easy to find from the M1, M69, and I guess head near to Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick area and you'll find the OLD village of kenilworth.
- A worthwhile visit from the hotel is Kenilworth castle, roughly a ten-fifteen minute walk, very hands on and you can climb old stairways and walk through castle rooms with the imagination of what they looked like in the past.
Anyway the hotel.....
- situated in old kenilworth opposite a nice Everads pub, and having a Loch Fyne Resturant within in the same building makes for a sensible place to stay.
- The hotel itself is a periodic building on the outside and carries this character inside with a warm modern twist and cleanliness that you would expect from a high end boutique hotel.
- The rooms we have stayed in have been small however very adequate and very well laid out.
- The bar area is very civilised and comfortable.
- Loche Fyne Resturant integrates in to the bar area.
- The food is fresh and exciting if you don't mind spending a few quid, however no more expensive than a good Resturant.
- Parking, I can appreciate parking may be an issue as the car park is small and there is limited space on the front, but get there first and there will be no problems.
Overall a great comfortable stay again. I would recommend.
