As a Milsoms Hotel it is associated with the Loch Fyne restaurant. The food here is very good. Our room on a recent stay was clean and tidy looking over the road junction at the front. It was a bit noisy on Friday night. Could not log on to WiFi as it needed to register you first which I could not bother with. A simple password like other hotels would be better.
It is a convenient site and far better than another hotel in Kenilworth that I have visited.

Not much to commend itself from the front but this hotel has some admirable features and plenty of charm from both the building and the staff. Who could not appreciate an ancient oak tree being part of the stairwell into the front bedrooms of the hotel? Priced at about £80 for a double including an excellent breakfast in the integral Loch Fyne restaurant this must be good value for money. Location is excellent, car park adequate and our room was very clean, fresh and comfortable. My only criticisms would be minor and relate to housekeeping / maintenance. One of our room windows was cracked and our television controller needed a new battery but hey, these things happen even in the best kept hotels. Thank you for a first rate short stay.

We have stayed here twice now, as it has been a great location for leamington and Warwick uni where we have seen various artists.

Our latest stay was extremely pleasant.

Location.

- Very easy to find from the M1, M69, and I guess head near to Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick area and you'll find the OLD village of kenilworth.

- A worthwhile visit from the hotel is Kenilworth castle, roughly a ten-fifteen minute walk, very hands on and you can climb old stairways and walk through castle rooms with the imagination of what they looked like in the past.

Anyway the hotel.....

- situated in old kenilworth opposite a nice Everads pub, and having a Loch Fyne Resturant within in the same building makes for a sensible place to stay.

- The hotel itself is a periodic building on the outside and carries this character inside with a warm modern twist and cleanliness that you would expect from a high end boutique hotel.

- The rooms we have stayed in have been small however very adequate and very well laid out.

- The bar area is very civilised and comfortable.

- Loche Fyne Resturant integrates in to the bar area.

- The food is fresh and exciting if you don't mind spending a few quid, however no more expensive than a good Resturant.

- Parking, I can appreciate parking may be an issue as the car park is small and there is limited space on the front, but get there first and there will be no problems.

Overall a great comfortable stay again. I would recommend.

Thanks Milsoms, and Loche Fyne, for an overall enjoyable and pleasant stay.

great night sleep with excellent service - great selection at the bar and restaurant is superb as long as its not christmas or the like as it gets very busy then. Parking is an issue if you arrive later. Bathrom light and fan are controlled by the door so if you want to get up in night and keep the light level low -no chance!!

Great double room in room 5 - 16th Century so sloping everything but beautifully decorated and maintained. New flat screen TV. Overlooks Kenilworth Old Town High St.

Very steep 16th Century stairs to bedrooms at front of hotel.
Breakfast in adjacent Loch Fyne was absolutely excellent.
At £55 per night B&B this must be the best value for miles!
Been before, will visit again.

Room Tip: Rooms 1 -12 are in the front C16th part of the hotel
