Friendly welcome on arrival on a Tuesday. Room was nice with a very updated bathroom. Had a drink in the bar before going out for dinner and met a charming bunch of locals (including the owner, as we later realised) who insisted on sharing some snack rolls they had on the bar. Really nice! Barman gave us a few suggestions for going to dinner and we walked down the road to one of them. Had a final drink back in the Old Bakery, where we had a chat with same barman as he cleared up. A good night's sleep was followed by a nice, freshly cooked breakfast served up by friendly ladies. Thoroughly good, English pub / B and B. Did I really describe the locals as 'charming'? Can never go back now!

I recently reluctantly booked this hotel because most of my other favorites were full. My reluctance stemmed from my first stay when I had been give a single feature less 'box' room. However on this occasion I received a double and what a difference. It was like staying in a different location and it certainly revised my view. The room was more than adequate and was comfortably clean. But best of all was the overall experience. Banter in the bar with other customers before we went out to eat and good conversation with the barman when we returned. Surprisingly good ales on offer! Breakfast choice is limited but what was on offer was of a high quality so no complaints here. Although compact this hotel, if I can call it that, offers a complete package and I for one appreciated it much more second time round than I did on my first visit.

Room Tip: Try and avoid a single room

Stayed at this gorgeous B&B for a week in June with my husband and son. The owners and staff couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming. We could easily walk to several restaurant, a great playground for kids (Abbey fields) or just wander in the quaint area. Can highly recommend this gem!

We went to a funeral today and had the funeral tea afterwards here. I've never been in here before . It's quaint, the staff very friendly, food was amazing, lovely place settings on tables, will go in here again some time soon.

Room Tip: Can't comment on price as we weren't paying.

We stayed here for 2 nights while attending an event at Warwick Arts Centre. The Old Bakery is situated in old Kenilworth, near a number of restaurants. Our room was spacious, spotless and quiet; and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfasts were first class, and the bar in the evening was perfect: a great atmosphere with no music/sport/fruit machines - just excellent and well-kept beer. Highly recommended!

The proprietors clearly enjoy operating this B&B in Kenilworth, away from the bustle of the bigger towns and cities. Everyone who works there is friendly and welcoming.

The rooms are of average size, but well-equipped. The breakfast buffet is ample and of great quality and reasonable variety and the cooked food also tastes great and arrives quickly.

A great place to have a drink in the evening, with a good selection of beers and ciders.

Room Tip: Room 10 has a very spacious bathroom with skylight.

We stumbled upon The Old Bakery last week as we were driving past. The pleasant exterior enticed us to go inside rather than the tired old public house over the road. Lovely decor and a very nice atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. We only had drinks but we will be back for a meal in the future. Recommended!!
