“Good location”
Reviewed 11 October 2012

We only stayed here for one night but were pleasantly surprised, it is modern and well appointed. Very well situated in the centre of the town so very easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was a bit on the small side but reasonably appointed, all in all, very good value for money, we enjoyed our stay.

We booked an overnight stay here after looking at the other 'brand' hotels in the area. The hotel itself is clean and modern and the town of Kenilworth is well worth exploring. We chose to eat out in the evening and there are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from although the hotels menu didn't seem too bad, there wasn't a great deal to select from. We did get a deal when booking on the breakfasts at an extra £5.00 each and this was well worth it. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated if not a little small. The Starbucks coffee shop on the ground floor is ideal especially as the weather was so fine to be able to sit out on the front terrace relaxing. Parking was easy as was finding the hotel. Overall, if we are in the area again we would definitely stay here.

Room Tip: Would suggest a room on a high floor for the views.

Overall, this is an ok hotel, and I love that it has a Starbucks. The bed was very comfy. However, there was thick dust along the side of the carpets, and marks on the cushions/furniture. The cups were dirty. Also, the review form left in the room was already filled in - with the person's details (address and phone number) which I thought was not good for customer confidentiality! The bathroom however was spotless. We went somewhere else for breakfast since it was too expensive here.

Room Tip: Floor two looks to have nicer, bigger rooms.

I did not expect much but was truly surprised. I stayed here for one night for business. It was clean and pleasantly decorated. The rooms are cosy but very comfortable. There are a number of restaurants close by (we ate across the road) and a Starbucks on premises which provided a quick breakfast on the go. Staff were also friendly and efficient.
Would recommend this hotel to any business traveller.

We wanted a cheap hotel close by Warwick Uni to attend the open day. As we planned to arrive late and leave early the only requirements were proximity to the Uni, family room and not too expensive. This hotel did perfectly well. The room was clean and a reasonable size. The two double beds were small which didn't make for a great nights sleep. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. At £82 for the three of us including breakfast it is certainly good value. Staff were very pleasant.

We stayed here on 25th August. The room was of contemporary design and the fixtures, fittings and furnishings were of a high standard, in particular the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was lovely. The room was not overly large but the bathroom was spotlessly clean. our room was on 4th floor so we experienced no noise at all .We had a B&B package, breakfast was of a reasaonable standard, buffet style with all the usual selections bit slow topping things up !. It compared very well with the other main Kenilworth hotels and overall value was excellent and would definately stay here again and recommend.

Hotel was very nice, clean with all the usual facilities, ideal position close to all the bars & restaurants & shops, we were late arriving Saturday so decided to eat in the hotel the food was excellent, the staff were all very helpful & friendly. I would say that the price for the breakfast is rather high.

Room Tip: Higher rooms have less noise
