“A gem of a rental property”
Reviewed 2 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Could not fault this rental property in any way. As the grandparents we had the downstairs en suite room leaving the upstairs rooms for parents and 2 young children. Beds were very comfortable and a cot was supplied for the baby.

The lounge was comfortable with plenty of room for the children to play.

Excellent kitchen with 12 place settings of everything. Even plenty of dishwasher tablets. A couple of smaller oven trays would have been useful.

We will return again.

“Home from home , comfortable tasteful decor and very accommodating host .Thank you .”
Reviewed 29 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Initial inquiry made to stay in self catering accomodation which was sadly unavailable at this time ,however
Tamarind replied promptly ,kindly offering B & B accomodation in the farmhouse .I stayed with my two teenages whilst visiting another who is studying at Warwick uni .
The rooms were beautifully & tasfully decorated .very comfortable beds
and enjoyable breakfast .
Tea & cake on arrival , such thoughtful touches really do enhance the experience .
Tamarind could not have been more accommodating .we had exclusive use of family dining room for our take away supper , and didn't have to wash up !
Kennilworth castle is nearby and well worth visiting .
We will definately be back .
Thank you so much .
Do call if you come down to
Cornwall .

Thanks again . Laura , Ben , Maddie & Ellie

“The Old Dairy suited this cow and her herd!”
Reviewed 15 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

The Old Dairy was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our boisterous family of 5! We were even able to entertain extended family for dinner as there was more than enough crockery, cutlery and the facilities are superb. It was also lovely to be able to buy fresh farm eggs! The hosting family was really accommodating even though I felt guilty having to do my laundry in their laundry. Would definitely stay there again. Our children relaxed and enjoyed themselves too.

“Fantastic Find in Kenilworth!”
Reviewed 24 January 2014 for a stay in January 2014

We were very impressed with the Old Dairy. It far exceeded our expectations. The flat is modern and clean with beautiful architectural features maintained to give it a rustic feel. The kitchen was top notch with quality appliances and all the essentials for cooking or even entertaining. The bedrooms were all very spacious with very comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. We loved the setting and found it very restful to return each day/night and relax in the comfortable lounge. We enjoyed many walks on the paths leading to the castle. Ian and Tamarind were so kind and thoughtful and even allowed us to use their washing machine & dryer at the farm house. We'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a clean, modern, spacious place to call 'home' for short or long stays.

“Pleasant Time at the Pleasance”

My husband , father and I arrived early to a spotlessly clean and immaculately decorated barn conversion, with homemade cupcakes and a sprig of narcissi to welcome us. There was everything that we needed, even down to dishwasher tablets. All the rooms were large with clean and comfortable furnishings. The central heating was very controllable and kept us warm throughout a fairly chilly April week. I was optimistic and hoped for some sun but was disappointed there was no patio furniture. A quick request at the farmhouse and Ian kindly organised our outdoor furniture. Judy and Ian were very friendly and helpful and were happy for us to use the washing machine in their utility room attached to the farmhouse. We did have a minor ant problem in the kitchen, but this was quickly dealt with by Judy - just one of those things! It would also be nice to have a bigger TV, particularly for a larger group than ours and we did find it seemed to break up a lot - but perhaps that was down to the location. Having said that, the location is lovely and peaceful, with only the call of tawny owls in the night, and on a clear night the stars jump out at you due to the lack of light pollution. I would definitely recommend Northmere, which would comfortably accommodate a group of 6 without feeling cramped.

“Perfect”
Reviewed 10 March 2013 for a stay in March 2013

We were a group of six girls who wanted a relaxing weekend away and our stay at the Old Dairy was exactly what we were looking for. It's been recently refurbished to a very high standard and it was very clean and comfortable. The farm is very close to Kenilworth where there are lovely places to eat and drink. It was very easy to book and it was a perfect weekend away. Will definitely return.
