I visited this place for a cup of tea whilst family were shopping and visiting the castle over the road. It is double fronted with a counter at the front, tables in the windows, efficient table service, tasty tea and coffee and a variety of breakfasts and snacks. I went for a pot of tea, a caffetierre of coffee and some toasted teacakes. I stayed for an hour, relaxed, no hassling for the table, lovely atmoshere and hubub of conversation. There are about a dozen tables as one room stretches to the back of the tea room. Value was fine. I will def go again. This is a little gem.
