“Friendly, clean comfortable great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 February 2014

Stayed with a colleague for 3 nights whilst on business locally, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable on arrival. The location is great with ample parking and an easy walk to a good selection of local eateries. The rooms are a good size and well appointed with everything you need for a comfy stay. The breakfast choice is very good and quality food is freshly cooked for you. A twenty minute drive will take you to Birmingham airport where you would pay more to stay in a soulless concrete block...... it's a no brainer, thanks for a lovely stay.

First time in Kenilworth, booked hotel via internet.
The rooms are nice, clean. For English Hotels i would say that the size is average.
The owner is very charming. Breakfast is very very good......the nice thing is that you can choose from the menu what you would like, and it is cooked on the fly.
Parking lot in front of the hotel is very useful.
Supermarkets, gas station, restaurants at walking distance

We stayed at the Victoria Lodge in Kenilworth recently and had a pleasant stay. The hotel was friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and when we went down for breakfast the host was welcoming and the food was very good. We will definitely go back and recommend to any one thinking of staying.

We stayed here for 1 night recently and had a very comfortable stay, It's in an ideal spot to see the sights of Kenilworth and the surrounding area, We slept well and breakfast was very good, We were on the second floor in a road facing room and although there is a busy road in front of the Lodge we were not disturbed by the traffic during the night and we had the window open throughout our stay,
Just one word of warning for any tall people, our room had a sloping ceiling in parts and although it didn't cause us a problem you might want to request a room on the first floor to avoid bumping your head in the middle of the night !!
All in all a very comfortable place to stay if you prefer small and friendly to staying in a Hotel chain,

We hadn't planned where were going to be, never mind where we going to stay, but think that the Victoria Lodge deserves its place at the top of the listings.
We were welcomed in from the cold, and given a lovely warm room with a huge bathroom, which was quiet even though it overlooked the car park and the main road.
The location is superb, as there are a large choice of pubs and restaurants on the road into the town - we tried the excellent Indian restaurant, whose name escapes me now.
Breakfast was delicious, with a good choice, and the owner (Jane) was very friendly, offering plenty of advice and leaflets on local attractions and where we going.

I have stayed here twice and I will go back for future trips to this part of the country. Very easy access from the motorway, the car park (free) is right at the front, so it's just perfect for anyone driving. It seems the business has been going on for a long time but at nowhere seen any sign of wear and tear, or neglect. The immaculately maintained rooms are the epitomy of professionalism. And I loved the bed on both occasions. I have slept at many hotels and B&Bs, and the quality of sleep I had here was probably the best. The communinal fridge with milk and bottled water are very thoughtful, as other reviewers say. Jane and her husband make sure that all guests are well looked after. A good range of breakfast menu: I could have had fish but I went for the full English with a sausage from the local butcher. An excellent place to stay at a great value for money.

We stayed here for one night rather than stay in a chain hotel. Rooms were very comfortable owners attentive and polite and breakfast lovely. There were also nice touches such as a small fridge on the landing with cold bottles of water and fresh milk. Highly recommended
