A Whitbreads pub close to the canal with a beer garden, which on a sunny day looked inviting.
Shared a starters platter as something to munch on whilst enjoying the sun and wished I hadn't bothered. The nachos were covered in a runny 'cheese', which looked like it had come out of a bottle and was inedible IMO, the chicken goujons were overcooked and dried, the onion rings tasteless, although the fried squid, mushrooms and garlic bread were decent.
Ok so this place is cheap, but don't expect things to look anything like the pictures in the menu, so you aren't disappointed.
