A Whitbreads pub close to the canal with a beer garden, which on a sunny day looked inviting.

Shared a starters platter as something to munch on whilst enjoying the sun and wished I hadn't bothered. The nachos were covered in a runny 'cheese', which looked like it had come out of a bottle and was inedible IMO, the chicken goujons were overcooked and dried, the onion rings tasteless, although the fried squid, mushrooms and garlic bread were decent.

Ok so this place is cheap, but don't expect things to look anything like the pictures in the menu, so you aren't disappointed.

Nice pub meals at good prices. Good selection all through the day and evening. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating to your needs. Will miss them as we have had a few laughs
with them over the days we spent in Stratford. Very clean, tables nicely spaced so you don't have
to squeeze round other tables, good seating in garden and nice decor inside.
Good pricing for good food. Wish we had one like this locally.

After a long day we stopped in for a cold beer and dinner. The portions were a little small but tasty.
