Packed full to the rafters with people. We ditched the walk and went our own way. I know we missed out on a whole mess of information, but I couldn't stand the crush of people/students.

My daughter and I enjoyed this tour very much. It was very modestly priced for over two hours of information and wandering from one significant site to another. We learned a lot about Shakespeare and much more.

The walk itself is a must to introduce Stratford provided you can cope with the walking around for two hours. The guide was knowledgable and entertaining, and we could all hear her talks even though we were quite a large group of more than 25. Since our walk we have been able to use the excellent vouchers that come with your ticket - they are exceedingly flexible and can be used with many of the attractions and food outlets in the town, so far we have saved nearly £30 and still have vouchers left for our second day in Stratford!

Our guide was Barbara. She gave us lots of information about Stratford and Shakespeare. I think she is very passionate about her home town. She wlwas very funny and she gave us a long list with discounts, for example the Shakespeare 2 for 1 ticket. So we got a 16 pounds reduction by paying only 5 pounds for the walking tour. Pretty good deal.
