“Excellent coffee”
Reviewed 24 August 2010

My wife and I stopped here for a breakfast latte and croissant and both we're delicious. It was a very pleasant atmosphere, good friendly service and a dining area outside in the back. We would definitely return.

“Best Coffee in Stratford”
Reviewed 1 June 2010

If you take your coffee seriously, as I do, then this is the best coffee shop in you'll find in this area. I should clarify though, that this is a coffee shop, and not a restaurant. Having said that, they do have a good quality (albeit limited) range of cooked breakfasts, panini, sandwiches, soup etc using locally sourced produce wherever possible. The main point to the cafe though are the drinks. These are people who pride themselves in making a good (great?) coffee. You'll find that it is made less hot than at most coffee shops (though they'll do it hotter if you ask) which I'm told helps make it less bitter. It isn't advertised, but I'm sure they will serve a Flat White if you ask. They also have quite a large range of specialty teas.

They are located in the market square. Not perhaps the best spot if you want a view of the river, but handy for people going into or out of Stratford to/from the railway station and close to where the tourist bus stops - as well as being close to the shops.

“Tasty Coffee”
Reviewed 1 June 2010

Lovely little independent cafe. We ate sandwiches here and they were very tasty. Small inside but that added to atmosphere. Nice and relaxed. This cafe has won recent awards and I felt this was reflected in the beautiful tasting smooth americano.

“Coffee as it should be.”
Reviewed 16 May 2010

Don't be put off by the rather basic cafe style interior. I have only been here a couple of times but I am never disappointed. The coffee is smooth and sooo tasty, ask for the latte to be served as the hotter option, it won't disappoint.
If you have time stay for the superb paninis, sandwiches or baguettes, oh so fresh and tasty. Most ingredients locally sourced and you can really tell.
Staff are friendly and take just that little bit longer to ensure everything is as it should be. You will probably be too full to sample the delicious range of cakes, my advice is buy any of them to take away or even better go back after walking off your lunch and have another superb coffee!!!! The courtyard is a suntrap if weather good.
