We took a group of Senior Citizens to Stratford Upon Avon for a day out so obviously we needed to buy our lunch once there. We chose this pub - after looking around at many more first. It was a local's jaunt we noticed so usually they are good value for money - so in we went. The food was very good and we chose the offer which was 2 main menus courses for £10.99. That was real value for money - we also chose Garlic Mushrooms for £2.50 pp and again found this to be excellent value for money. Along with this we ordered 2 glasses of wine - I believe it was the House advertised - El Mazo - the red seemed fine but the white was very watery- I took a sip and didn't say anything to my husband and asked him to taste it and his remark was that he thought that it was watered down - so we did comment on this only to be told that our comment would be passed on to the Manager. Nothing was done but it was very weak! I spoke to some of our passengers on the coach afterwards and they commented about the wine also.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. Im glad you enjoyed our food and establishment. The El-Mazo range has been offered on our menu for as long as I can recall and is a house favorite here at the Garrick. I appologise for the watery flavor and can assure you that here at the Garrick we never water down any of our drinks. The El-Mazo Viura Sauvingnon Blanc (which I believe you had) is a light Spainish summer wine with fruity, lemon and lime flavours. I do also apologise for your servers reaction to the query. This is not acceptable and it should have been delt with there and then. After speaking to my staff we have taking the right precautions to avoid this from happening in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and we hope to see you again.

Great old pub that allows dogs. Good prices too, friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Small but very atmospheric.

We knew 'The Garrick' was a dog friendly pub/restaurant, from earlier reviews on trip advisor. Having arrived by River Taxi (recommended way to visit) and done our tourist bit, it was nice to visit such a friendly watering hole, together with our two dogs.

We were made to feel very welcome and each dog was duly provided with a water bowl.

We only had a sandwich for lunch, but the Welsh rabbit was really nice.

I would recommend - very friendly staff, good food and a warm welcome.

took my parents here for fathers day, so it was really busy, and hence service was a bit slow - but staff were all really helpful and friendly. Food was gorgeous - all went for Sunday roast which was perfect, and great value for money. And would definitely recommend the gooseberry crumble - amazing!!

Any day of celebration is always rather busy here at the Garrick, but its great to know that even so our staff still offer excellent service. We pride ourselves in our roast dinners and gooseberry crumble is extreamly popular.

I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again.
