You just cant beat the location of this hotel, directly opposite the RSC, a very "grown up" hotel, We have stayed here only once, so far, and will be returning for a new year celebration,

The rooms can be small but have character and the bathroom was almost as large as the bedroom. The facilities are 1st class and the champagne bar was a treat.

The bed was very welcoming and in the morning after visti to the theatre we had a beautiful breadfast in bed.

Room Tip: Our room was a Deluxe Room. The price was good, not cheap but not expensive ( we have paid more for...

I have stayed at The Arden on several occasions and have not been disappointed, however I have only stayed in the week, not at weekends. The rooms are lovely, the hotel is indeed very warm as other reviewers have commented but you just have to open a window to cool off. The hotel is very quiet at night which is nice, service can be a little slow in the restaurant but the food is good and staff are friendly and helpful.
For those guests who are a little confused about their feature rooms, Mulberry is the one with the view of the river and the roll top bath!
will happily return.

Room Tip: Mulberry has a view of the river and the roll top bath, Robinia has adjoining rooms and is not as ex...

The Arden Hotel is excellent. Superb location and very luxurious.

All the rooms are named after trees and we had an excellent, modern, spacious, quiet room with dark curtains. The bathroom was of a similar high quality.

Breakfast was also of a very high standard. We did not have an evening meal there as the menu was not ideal for us, but there are lots of other excellent restaurants within a short walking distance.

The Arden is not cheap, but if you can afford it - go for it!

We booked a superior room for a one night stay to see Midsummer night's dream at the RST.
Our room, Spruce, was on the first floor and was roomy and quiet with no passing traffic in the corridor.
We ordered breakfast to be delivered to the room and it was excellent. Poached eggs perfectly cooked with ham and hot toast.
We would certainly stay here again and would choose this room if possible.

Louise & Andrew of the staff helped us sort out our accommodations, cheerfully and efficiently. The hotel is perfectly located as it is right across from the Shakespeare Theater as well as being in walking distance of the major tourist attractions. The Master Suite was very comfortable and well-stocked with needed amenities. Highly recommended!!!

We have just had our 2nd two night stay at this hotel and it was as good as the first. The room was very clean and well presented and serviced two times perday. We stayed in room Pear (they have tree names not numbers) a medium sized room which looks stright out onto the theatre. The breakfast was of a good quality but fell a little short of what it was trying to prove and the service was prompt. We had one night in the restaurant, yet again the service was prompt even though it was busy and the food was good quality and well presented. We like this hotel and will return, but I have to question the bar and food prices as value for money they seem to just fall short of what they are trying to be, I am being pickie though because this is not a cheap hotel to stay at.

Room Tip: Pear is very good
