Was in Stratford to visit the new Shakespeare Theatre for our wedding anniversary and you cannot get closer than the Arden! Booked here because I wanted something special for our anniversary but not (too) over the top and I was not disappointed. Service from the time we booked in was excellent. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was a delight and very relaxing. Really like the recent refurbishment with the boutique hotel atmosphere. Didn't have dinner but the breakfast that was included in the tariff was individually cooked and very good. Nice location opposite the theatre and the river.

My husband, teenage son and I stayed for one night at The Arden Hotel and it could not have been more perfect! from the moment we arrived, we were made incredibly welcome, our room was beautiful with fantastic personal touches such as a birthday card and chococlates for my husband. ( The stay was his birthday surprise!) Small touches like fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room fridge and exquisite Occitane toiletries in the bathroom made all the difference. The beds were incredibly comfortable and, although we were very conveniently in the middle of Stratford, it was really quiet at night. We saw Romeo and Juliet in the new Shakespeare Theatre (literally 2 minutes away) and enjoyed a delicious pre-theatre supper in the Hotel's lovely restaurant. To complete the stay, the breakfast next morning was really tasty and freshly cooked. We will be back!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, with equally important fantastic staff. Nothing is to much trouble and staff are always polite and helpful. Rooms are stunning, stayed in "Monkey Puzzle" lovely comfortable king size bed with great view of RSC and river. Great full english in the morning with plenty of other breakfast options for those not divulging in the full. Wouldn't hesitate to return and would thogroughly recommend.

We stayed at the Hotel recently to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary and I can honestly say that it is quite possible the best hotel we have stayed in! The decor in the hotel was exquisite and the superior room we stayed in was lovely. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were attending a performance of King Lear and the hotel could not be better located for the theatre. It was great to be able to take a drink in the lovely bar back at the hotel to discuss the performance after it had finished. We also received a card and box of chocolates from the staff congratulating us on our anniversary which was a lovely, thoughtful touch. On the Sunday afternoon our family joined us and we took afternoon tea in the lounge - again the decor in this room was beautifully done and created a relaxing surround. We cannot recommend this hotel enough and look forward to visiting it again.

We got engaged here and I'm very pleased I chose this hotel. Its a fantastic place. The rooms are of a very high standard with massive bathrooms and the staff are excellent. The location is great - we were able to leave the car in the hotel car park for the weekend and take in all Stratford has to offer on foot. This all made for a wonderful stay. We are hoping to return in the summer.

Definitely recommend this hotel. Great to getaway from London and stay in such a reasonably priced, yet stunning boutique hotel. Location couldn't be any more central. Staff were so helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a very spacious Master room for my 30th birthday and we were also given a late check out.. Breakfast is plentiful and yummy. Loved navigating around the hotel, the layout made finding your room an adventure!

We have just returned from a truly excellent stay at the Arden. As I mention in the title, the room was lovely with a great bathroom and the most comfortable bed Ive ever slept in. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and the food was just great. We will definitely be back.
