We enjoyed a well priced and beautifully cooked 3 course meal here before going on a Ghost Walk in town.
Couldn't fault our experience, the food was delicious, wine choice very good and even good coffee! Top marks, remember to book though, it was very popular!

I booked a pre-theatre dinner on saturday 03rd November for a party of 3. The portions were just right. Four choices per course from the set menu. Dishes were light and full of flavour, original without being gimmicky. Pudding were scrumptious and the signature bread and butter pudding is in a class of its own. Swift service, very attentive. Lovely dining room with soft lighting. We will definitely be back!!

Nice touch: when I booked the table online, I mentioned that it was a birthday treat for my boyfriend. His pudding was decorated with a candle and a "happy birthday" writing and they gave him a complimentary glass of wine.

Visited this restaurant with 8 friends after reading the trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere was fantastic and all eight diners commented on how good it was. Would recommend it to any one in the area

One of our regular local restaurants and by far the best in Stratford. Superb food, excellent service and a great intimate atmosphere. The taster menu is well worth trying even though its expensive, it is worth it with or without the wines. it also changes every month unlike some other restaurants elsewhere who do a similar thing but hardly ever change the menu.

Overall top class, try it you will not be disappointed.

We had a very nice pre-theatre dinner.
3 courses for 16.50 was good value.
Very tasty food, albeit portion a little on the small side.
My smoked salmon risotto with a poached egg was very delicious. Spicy sausages with new potatoes were flavorful, probably could have done with few more potatoes. Peach melba (ice cream + peach + raspberry) tasted lovely, maybe could have done with a biscuit on the side, just to add a bit of crunch.
Pleasant, efficient service.
