We visited the restaurant on a Friday night and it was reasonably quiet throughout the meal. We opted for both starters and main courses and the food we had was all of a high quality and well cooked. The only let down we had was that we found 3 bones in the piece of filleted fish on one of the main courses. Whilst it's understandable you do occasionally get the odd bone in fish, three (that were all of a reasonable size) in one piece did give the impression that it had not been checked thoroughly enough. When we drew this to the attention of the waiter his response of 'that's a shame' was a little surprising. With regards to the prices, the food is reasonably good value but the drinks are a bit expensive though, especially the bottled beer. Furthermore, when we received the bill we spotted that the fish dish had been incorrectly overcharged. When we drew this to the attention of the waitress she checked it immediately and apologised when she returned with the corrected bill. Overall we had a good experience, with the service from both waitresses being excellent, and if we were in the same area then we would consider eating here again.
