“Charming, welcoming and peaceful.”

From the very beginning this cottage was everything we hoped for, it was full of country charm and very cosy with plenty of room for our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers). . Karen was welcoming and helpful with information about the area and it was an easy drive to Stratford Upon Avon and Warwick Castle. Of all the places we visited on our European vacation, our children voted Quince Cottage as one of the best places they stayed in and so do I!

I am so pleased when guests are genuinely pleased with their stay at Quince Cottage. I have tried to make it exactly as I would like it to be when I visit somewhere new, home from home. To hear good comments means I know I have got it right and I hope guests will want to return to for another stay in the Cotswolds.

“We Love this Beautiful Cottage.”

We spent a week sharing Quince Cottage with two friends, and all of us were more than pleased. Of course, we appreciated the fresh bread, marmalade, butter, milk, wine, and so on. But even more important was the beautiful cottage with modern conveniences, lovely landscaping, and all of the comforts of home. Karen was wonderfully friendly and helpful, and we had a super vacation.

Liked best: The cottage was spacious and comfortable for 2 couples. It had all the comforts and conveniences of home.
Liked least: The tub in the second bedroom was difficult to use, especially for an older person.

“Beautiful Cotswold cottage in beautiful location”

Have just come back home from a week's holiday at Quince Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable, well equipped and in the most gorgeous location. A real home from home cottage. You have your own private parking space along with private walled garden and summer house. It's in a tiny hamlet near to Stratford Upon Avon and it's location makes for great days out without too much driving which is a real bonus.
Karen was very welcoming and had lots of suggestions of places to visit and places to dine in. This was our first visit to the Cotswolds and hopefully when we return, Quince Cottage will be our place to stay.

“Lovely, Lovely, Lovely”
Reviewed 14 April 2012 for a stay in April 2012

We enjoyed 3 wonderful days at wonderful Quince Cottage. So very homey and comfortable, all the comforts of home. Beautiful setting in this lovely countryside. We were provided with milk, eggs, cereals, jams and delicious bread to welcome us. The cottage itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. Gas burning cast iron stove in the living room kept us warm and cozy. This was our home base from which we toured the exquisite Cotswold region and went as far north as the Peak District, which was less than a 2 hour drive north. Karen is a pleasure, warm and generous with any help or advice we may have needed. We were sorry to leave as we could easily have enjoyed more time to tour the area. Next time.

I am always delighted when guests have enjoyed their stay with us. We live in a beautiful part of the country and it is great to be able to share that with visitors and also to make their stay in Quince Cottage a real home from home experience . I try to make a stay with us just as I would want it and put in some nice welcome items for guests when they arrive to get your holiday off to a good start.

“What an incredible place!”
Reviewed 8 November 2011 for a stay in November 2011

Quince Cottage was everything we expected and more! Myself and 2 friends along with 1 year old baby Maisie chose Quince cottage as it was central for all of us and perfect for a family stay. It's a real home from home - Karen had made it so welcoming when we arrived, with fresh bread, wine, eggs and cereal, which we enjoyed in front of the fire in the gorgeous living room. It's a great base to explore the surrounding areas like Stratford and the smaller villages. I would recommend this cosy piece of luxury to anyone, and hope to be back very soon!

Quince Cottage is well equipped for all the family and with separate bathrooms ideal for 2 couples and different ages. It is stocked with plenty of DVD's, CD's and games to keep everyone entertained whatever age and whatever the weather, and it is always a pleasure to meet such a variety of ages of guests and to be able to help them enjoy the area and their stay in the cottage.

“Fantastic, home from home, with lots of special touches........”
Reviewed 27 July 2011 for a stay in February 2011

What a fabulous cottage, everything and more we could have asked for, with lots of special touches.....Karen made us all feel very welcome, with the fire put on for our arrival and the bread, wine, cheese, eggs etc. Great food within the village. We would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone.

Whatever time of year guests visit I want them to arrive and feel that this is their place to relax and enjoy whilst discovering our beautiful part of the country and so if arriving late in the dark what could be nicer than the fire lit , welcome lights on and some goodies on the table.
