The Holiday Inn in Nottingham is just what you can expect: clean, nice, with very helpful staff. Solid performance, but not more than that. Location is wonderful, just a short walking distance to the theaters and Stratford´s very nice harbour. On the other hand, anything in Stratford is within a short walking distance. Breakfast was typical Holiday Inn, again very ok, but not a bit more. One British oddness: in a half empty breakfast room you have to wait to be seated. You wait, a member of the staff comes (when she/he comes) and shows that you can sit at a table which has cups and forks ready, nobody sitting at it and which is two meters away from you. Could I be trusted to walk to a table by myself?
