My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my Birthday. Check in was delayed as the room was not ready for us we arrived at 2:30 was asked to come back at 3 room still was not ready so returned at 3:30 after buying a drink from the bar. On our return the reception staff then went to find a room for us. We were advised check in was late as one member of the housekeeping team had not turned up. On arrival at our room we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the room it was clean and tidy but as in a previous review we found that the pedal bin had a broken pedal and the bath was missing some enamel – about the size of a 50p piece. So no relaxing bath for us!!! The water pressure in the shower was very poor but found the hand shower had lots more pressure so we used this which was not ideal. We had a room facing the road which is very busy and the traffic continues all the way through the night. Restaurant service was a bit hit and miss all depends on who served you. I had a bread roll dropped in my lap followed by a knife. We ordered cheese and biscuits but was served bread. When we queried why we had been given bread instead of biscuits the waiter replied that it was human error and did we want biscuits instead?. We highlighted our concerns to Carrie the supervisor regarding our service and she kindly said we did not have to pay for the wine we had during the meal. Carrie is an asset to the restaurant staff she welcomes you with a smile at all times. Breakfast service was a little slow on replenishment. On our first morning many elements of the buffet breakfast were not available a staff member told me sternly that this was due to the hotel being busy, several guests had to ask for crockery and for the food to be replenished . We used the pool area which again was very clean and tidy. We had an enjoyable stay & would return if in the area again.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms near the road if you want a good nights sleep. We were in 268

The first thing that you remember about this hotel is the friendly staff. It is a good hotel in a good location on bus route to Stratford about 4 miles away. it has spa facilities that I would recommend. Myself and friends stayed and we all had treatments that we were pleased with. The rooms are comfortable and the restaurant served a good selection of food that was above average. It offered excellent value for money and we would stay again.

Room Tip: Choose a higher room. Some lower rooms suffer from poor light due to shrubbery.

We are Q Hotel "Breakaway" Club Members & so we use the various Q Hotels on a regular basis! First time at the Stratford Manor & yes, we would return again & yes we would also recommend. Have scored 4 out of 5 & the only reason this hotel didn't score a 5 was because we felt an interior refurbishment is required as the decor looks a little tired & dated, as well as a minor replenishing issue at breakfast. However, having said that, the Hotel was immaculate throughout & spotlessly clean. The external grounds are pretty & well maintained which provided for a pleasant per-breakfast in the sunshine. Our welcome was exceptionally friendly, professional & efficient & we were delighted to be able to check-in at 13.00 upon our arrival, despite us not anticipating a 15.00 hour check-in. The Reception Team & all the other Staff at the Hotel were beyond helpful, extremely customer orientated & very helpful & polite which was just lovely. Breakfast service caused a little frustration for ourselves & fellow Guests since various elements of the buffet breakfast were not maintained & replenished efficiently enough because various items were remained absent & so Guests were hanging about, waiting & somewhat delayed despite multiple requests from various Guests. This was probably due to a Staffing issue, which the Hotel Management need to address without further delay, although the waiting Staff at breakfast remained, polite, professional & very helpful. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay & would return.

A warm & friendly welcome at reception
All the staff were more than happy to help in any situation
the rooms were clean and comfortable and away from the conference rooms so if a party is going on is should not affect your sleep the bar prices are over the top £2.38 for a 220ml bottle of
Pepsi and the other drinks can be found cheaper elsewhere
would I go back yes but eat and drink somewhere else

We were treated to a 2 night stay by great friends.
Upon arrival we were made to feel most welcome by the very friendly desk staff.
Our rooms were great comfy bed sitting area with 2 comfy arm chairs well appointed and very clean.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone stopping in the area.

Big thanks to all the staff for making our 25th wedding anniversary so enjoyable.
