This was our fourth or fifth visit - I reviewed the restaurant here twice before, so you can see I like it as part of a visit to the RSC theatre. We went for the pre-performance meal at 5.45 for the 7.15 start of the play. We had ample time for three courses. We both found more than one dish for each course that we would have liked; what we actually chose and ate lived up to expectation, served promptly and efficiently. I am sorry to say that, although there are still a number of wines served by the glass, they seem to have abandoned the second list of unusual, premium wines - I liked experimenting with items chosen from this list. But what I had passed muster.
If - when - we go to the RSC again we'll dine here again.
