“Fantastic little place”
Reviewed 17 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

My partner and I thoroughly loved staying at Little Longfields - it was clean and the perfect size for the two of us. Sarah was an excellent host, and we were grateful for the cooking oil :-) we'd love to stay again if we're in the area. Many thanks.

“beautiful little retreat.”
Reviewed 31 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Littlelongfields is a gorgeous cottage with everything you could possibly need. Wilmcote is a pretty little village with a handy little store right in the centre. Stratford is a couple of miles away, great for a lovely walk along the river or to explore, with lots of history. We went a bit further afield to Blenheim Palace and Oxford which were both beautiful and again steeped in history, would definitely recommend a visit. Warwick is a lot closer and again is a lovely place to visit.

Would definitely return to Littlelongfields, it's a perfect base for exploring, very comfortable, clean and pretty. Thank you Sarah for a lovely holiday.

Lovely accommodation and perfect hosts. Wonderful facilities, a home from home. So much to see in this area, and this is the perfect location to use as a base. We will definitely be back.

“Tranquil spot away from the tourist hordes!”

My two kids and I stayed here for a month this summer while visiting family in the area and we all loved Little Longfields. Sarah and her family were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They were even happy for the children to play in their own huge garden and use all the toys, which were happily and generously shared by Sarah and Richard's two lovely boys.

The holiday house is beautiful. The kids shared the queen bed upstairs and I slept on a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge area, which was very quick and easy to pop up and down again when needed.

Wilmcote is a beautiful little village and the house overlooks fields on the edge of the village. We had a car, but you wouldn't necessarily need one staying here - Wilmcote train station has regular trains to Stratford upon Avon and also to London, where we went for a day trip. It's also a really lovely walk along the canal in Stratford.

Mary Arden's farm is situated in the village and is a great day out, as well as a village shop and two excellent pubs, both of which serve food and have beer gardens.

We will definitely be staying a Little Longfields again next time we visit England. Thanks Sarah and Richard for a lovely stay.

“Wonderfully comfortable and very well equipped cottage in a great location”

Sarah and Richard have really thought about the needs of guests well. The cottage has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. Starting with a very comfortable bed, beautifully designed and modern bathroom, very well equipped kitchen, pleasant lounge/dining area and lovely terrace to use when the sun shines. It has it all plus the comfort of underfloor heating to enjoy when the weather is cool. Sarah is the main contact for renting the cottage and she is as pleasant a person as you could want to meet. She is keen to ensure your comfort during your stay and helpful in telling you about the local area and where to shop etc. We certainly will return when we can. It is that good.
