“Absolutely superb!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Stayed October: Magnificent accommodation: warm, bright, cosy, beautiful view, comfortable, well equipped and quiet. We used the water taxi which was fantastic and every driver was friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend this lodge for those who want to see Stratford but stay in a 'slower' location. Wouldn't know you were so close to the centre. Will definitely return. Owners more than helpful.

“Fantastic lodge, great views, relaxing time, wonderful location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed in Aug, both myself and my wife and our 2 teenage daughters. The lodge is wonderful. The location could not be better. The view is lovely. The river taxi stops outside, or a ten min level walk into Stratford. Christine was extremely helpful and advised us well of things available in the area. She went above and beyond what was expected. We will definitely be returning. We had a really relaxing time together as a family. We played many a board game and sat on the balcony watching the swans swim by...fantastic!!

Thank you for your very kind comments. It was lovely to meet you and your delightful daughters - who clearly loved the simplicity of the Lodge, with the Board Games,Wildlife & River Taxi on the doorstep and a chance to chill out as a family - not to mention all that Stratford has to offer teenagers - and all ages. I hope that you managed to get to the RSC and also the FREE Shows in the Dell. Do come back - a loyalty Discount applies to all guests who leave our place so clean and tidy. THANK YOU.

“Perfect place to stay in a beautiful location!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

My husband, 14 month old daughter and I stayed here in July and I can honestly say it was one of the best holidays I've ever had. Such a lovely accommodation, spacious, well furnished, and in the most PERFECT location - truly idyllic and beautiful part of Stratford, right on the river Avon, directly by the river taxi stop which takes you into the main town in 15 mins. Everything about the accommodation and location is fantastic, and Christine the owner is extremely helpful - thank you! We will definitely be returning. Would highly recommend for a family holiday (my daughter was in her element!) as well as a romantic trip for 2 - we enjoyed a candle-lit dinner on the patio, under the stars, watching the sun set over the river... pure bliss :)

“Return visit - just as succcessful as the first.”

In July we had our second holiday at Midsummer Nights Dream Lodge (I said we would be back). The weather was not as kind to us as on our first visit - but that hardly mattered the lodge was just as welcoming, warm , clean and inviting. The little river taxi was not able to run because of the high level of the river but we discovered that parking in Stratford was not as dfficulty as we feared. The park and ride is very efficient.
There were so many attractions and events taking place because of the Shakepearian celebration that once again there was not time to fit in everything that we wanted to do. The visit to the RSC was once again the hightlight and the production of Comedy of Errors was hilarious.

“What you see is what you get”

We spent a week at Midsummer Night Dream Lodge in September 2011. The holiday was one of the happiest I have ever had - perfect weather helped of course. The Lodge was exactly as descriped in the brochure and the photographs on the webside did full justice to the beautifull setting. The little river boat taxi was a lovely and convenient way to the very centre of Stratford - we only needed to use the car to visit some of the out of town attractions of which there are very many - too many to see in one week. A visit to the theate to see "A Midsummer Nights Dream" completed a wonderful week. We will certainly be back again.
