My fiancé and myself have been here three times within the past year and we have been here twice within a year. Both times we've been very impressed with the service.
The rooms are beautiful and within keeping of the shakespearean theme. The beds are comfy and the rooms were just toasty - which was lovely considering we've been in november and december!!
Staff are always very helpful and have helped us when needed e.g. with storing our luggage till we were leaving on day of check out etc.
Great central location, beautiful and comfy rooms and lovely en suites! Would recommend to everyone!

We drove into the hotel late at night. The staff person was friendly enough, but as we found out later, under trained. The room as ok, but i was expecting a little more for $100 a night. In the morning we tried to have their buffet breakfast but were told that it was $26 since we didn't reserve a table the night before. When we told another staff person we were never told about the 33% discount, she said the price was still $26. When i spoke to the hotel manager, she apologized about the mis-information but offered nothing for our trouble. As we walked through the hotel, two other couples came up to us with similar experiences. It's a shame when a local hotel is taken over by another company and even the local townspeople don't recommend the business.

Room Tip: if you're looking for a cheap hotel, this is probably up your alley.

We went for a girls weekend away my sisters 30th. From the roadside looked lovely. Unfortunately there were no spaces in hotel car park and you're not allowed to book so we had to park in the multistorey which was a hike especially with all your luggage and my sister is 8 months pregnant. We booked in and went to our rooms they were nice and quite modern. We decided to have some lunch at the bar downstairs not great my sister had brie bacon and cranberry sandwiches, but it had just fat where the bacon was supposed to be when we complained it was just ignored. Whilst in the bar I noticed a dog sitting on the furniture with its owners. I felt this was really unhygienic especially when the animal was constant ly scratching itself silly. Apparently its a pet friendly hotel but they are allowed to stay in any room there's no designated rooms for them. The hotel room and restaurant was really cold. All in all we were glad to go home...
