We stayed here for one night in a ‘Character’ room which are in the oldest part of the building.
The hotel itself is very nice, lots of character in the bar and restaurant. We had an evening meal and breakfast both were lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room was stunning, very large with a sofa, walk in shower and large copper bath. There were exposed beams throughout adding lots of character. The only downside was the beams were clearly fibreglass. They had been damaged in one or two places and were a pink colour underneath !
The hotel is in a handy location for walking around Stratford so you can park up and leave. The only downside is that the car park is located a couple of hundred metres walk away. There is a car park opposite the hotel which you could use to check-in etc if need be but this had a market during the day.More
