I have always looked forward to returning to Riverside, we tour with our caravan and for the last 7 years we have returned to Riverside, the location is ideal for all the attrations and sights in the Cotswolds. This year there appears to be new management and sadly things are not the same. What was a friendly, safe nice place is now nothing like it used to be. Staff go out of their way to ignore you or be insulting, continual threats about where you can and cant be, You now have to take in your waste containers and water barrels as they have a tendency to go missing, even things left under the caravan have gone missing. There does not appear to be any form of security so one feels anxious about going out and leaving the caravan, even with wheel clamps on. Sadly for us this will be the last time we come to Riverside.

Thank you for your review. As I understand you stayed with us within the last two weeks. Your review was a little upsetting to read. We have now had the same Management on Riverside for the past three years and our Wardens for the past two. It is felt that the park since the managers and wardens have been there has gone from strength to strength. I have looked into the complaints from the last month and no one has reported any items going missing. In fact I was on duty myself there last week when a gentleman left his watch in the shower, only for another gentleman to bring it up to the office within an hour. I would always advise any customers to come up to the office as soon as they feel a problem has occurred so that we can resolve the situation quickly. We do hope that you do decide to join us again in 2012, and hope this time we will be able to provide the relaxing break that we strive to give each and every customer who stay with us.

Had nt heard of snugs till now . Was a bit dubious but they re great . Basically a little shed excellently insulated with French doors and windows perfect alternative to camping . Camping with all the home comforts . Inside they have a very comfy sofa bed , two bunks for I suggest under 11 s a fridge a little heater which we did nt need it was lovely and warm and plug sockets for all your essentials . They are set in lovely open surroundings next to the river . You have a designated showers and toilets. Which are immaculately clean . There is a cheap club house in the adjoining site nothing special but ok to wander down for a drink to . Cafe on site great value breakfasts sausage bacon egg and toast for 99 p .all in all would highly recommend it for a few days walking distance from Stratford .

Thank you so much for the review on the Snugs and so so glad that you enjoyed them and found all that you needed. Last week I was on my own holiday looking out for our next 'Glamping' project for 2012. Hopefully Bike and canoe hire too. Hopefully see you next year.

Just returned from a weekend with family in a Stratford Lodge for 4. The lodge was superb very new and stylish. Really big Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and twin room with en suite shower room. Our lodge overlooked the river and had a large decking with comfortable modern patio furniture. Lodge was spotless and equipped with everything you needed. Staff were friendly and informative and site was immaculate. Had an excellent meal at Aladdins Indian Restaurant ( Midlands Curry award winner 2009) only about 10 mins walk in Tiddington. Used the river taxi £1.50 per person into Stratford which was great. 99p breakfast at on site cafe was also a good deal. We all loved the place.

Thanks for the review on the lodges. They were a massive investment and a major headache throughout the winter for us, but it seems to of paid off as people are loving them. Thank you so much for the review. It means a lot to us.

I managed to book on this site at last minute after a muddle up with my booking at a different site in stratford upon avon. It was easy to find and very friendly upon arrival. The quality of accommodation is excellent and very well looked after, It also has everything you need, even a dishwasher! the t.v and electrical equipment is also very good quality.
. Our lodge was right on the river bed and had a beautiful view. We can't wait t book a full holiday there with our family next summer. I highly recommend staying at Riverside Park x

Thank you so much for your feedback. As I remember it was me who dealt with you and was as pleased as you were that we could help and that the weekend could go as planned. Sorry I did not get chance to come down and meet you, but if you do get the chance to come again please ask for us. Hope the river trip was as good as you expected. Thanks again for the feedback.

This is a quiet site with wonderful river views and the river taxi into Stratford town as well as the facilities in Tiddington a very short walk away make it ideal for a relaxing break.

We were very lucky to get one of the Shakespeare lodges ar short notice for 2 nights - thank you Lorna for being so helpful when we called up - and it was also the River Festival in Stratford so although the site was very busy it was still tranquil and relaxing.

The lodges are fab - very clean, all mod cons and more and lovely views being close to the river.

All the staff we met were great and very helpful and we are hoping it wont be long before we stay again.

Hils Redditch

Room Tip: The lodges are the 5 star accommodation!

Thank you so much for your feedback. Its really nice to hear comments about our staff too. The lodges are lovely but the service you receive is really important to us too. The river festival was a great success and will be on next year too (council cuts and all that made it in the balance of being allowed again). The food festival is on in on the 17th Septemer and that's a great weekend too if you fancy. Hope to see you again soon. Thank you again for the feedback.

This was the first time we invited our friends from Cambridgeshire to Warwickshire. A crash on the A14 delayed their arrival and how were they greeted?...you will have to park on the drive with no hook up and if you try to drive the 10 yds to your allotted site you will be seen on camera!! How embarrassing was that????
Next time we will find a site where people who have had difficulties with their journey are welcomed to Warwickshire in a hospitable and friendly manner!!
To add insult to injury they were woken at 6am by cars coming and going from the site!
The journey on the river boat in to Stratford was lovely and well worth the hour long wait for a space.

Thank you so much for your feedback. As you can imagine the team at Riverside are working full on days in the summer months and we do try to get everyone in on time. We do understand that sometimes this is not possible and do try to phone up customers who are late arriving to try and find out what time they are expected. For 2012 hook up will be provided at the late arrival bays to help customers, and other measures are being put into place to help us help customers who are stuck in traffic etc etc. Your feedback is a help to how we run Riverside and look forward to seeing you again .

Stayed in a 3-bedroomed Shakespeare Lodge which was really lovely and comfortable with all mod cons. Beautiful location on the River Avon. The site was well-kept and whilst we didn't use the facilities there was a cafe serving cheap breakfasts and other meals. On the adjacent site there was a children's play area and club.

The village of Tiddington is close by and there is a pub which serves reasonably priced meals. There is also a chinese restaurant, wine shop and Spar shop.

Stratford town is a 20 minute walk away and is lovely, but very touristy. We walked in one day and got the river taxi back to the holiday park.

We also visited Warwick Castle which is expensive, but we had a couple of 2 for 1 vouchers which made it reasonable. There is plenty to do there with the jousting, demonstrations, birds of prey as well as castle ramparts, great hall and staterooms. It is extra to go in the Merlin Tower and Dungeons. There are also plenty of shops/activities to pay extra for and the food, as always in these type of places is expensive. My advice would be to take a picnic.

On the whole we went for a relaxing family break away from school and work and that is what we got.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed the area too. Our new clubhouse will be built in 2012 giving more facilities on park. Glad you enjoyed the lodges. It is well worth going the other way to The Cotswolds and the surrounding area. Hope to see you again soon. Thank you once again for the feedback.
