I found the gardens and statues magical when I visited many years ago and they are still magical! The gardens are very well kept, and the walk near the canal and the river basin with canal barges is great. The statues of Shakespeare himself and the characters of Falstaff, Hamlet, Prince Hal and Queen Margaret are very beautiful. The river Avon has swans, ducks and Canada geese, all waiting to be fed! The willow trees are memorable too.
