Owner description: Cox's Yard is a must-visit destination in Stratford-upon-Avon. Set around a converted timber yard on the River Avon waterfront it hosts a family pub, English Tea Shop and Continental Coffee Shop. You'll find it at the end of the Tramway Bridge between the Butterfly Farm and the Bancroft Gardens. Cox's Yard is world famous for its live entertainment which ranges from strolling players via nights of live standup comedy, travelling Theatre and Burlesque to heritage rock bands and top tribute acts. Artists display their wares at the height of summer. In short, there's always a reason to pop in.

Right on the river this is a lovely place for a coffee break or a beer. Plenty of seats, ideally situated it's a great place to pass some time. We are looking into going back to see some live music there-it's well worth a visit.

The location right on the river was great, we spent a lot of time here just relaxing and drinking coffee. Beware if you have young children as there is no safety barriers to the river.

Take yourself away from the hustle. Select from a wide variety of drinks, you don't have to get smashed out of your brains to have a good time in here. The sandwiches could be better, blue sky thinking went into all of those just far to much.
Lovely for feeding the birds next to the river. The lighting indoors and out, is second to none. The chairs are definitely came out from some ones barn yard as they felt hard and edgy.
On the whole, worth the visit. It really did feel like a scenic holiday aboard. Things like playing ball and fishing almost won't be possible there.

On arrival I went into the ladies to discover that all 3 toilets were covered in toilet roll and were absolutely disgusting! I notified a member of staff who seemed uninterested and told me to use the disabled, the staff did not seem to have a clue what was going on our food turned up half an hour later after we ordered and was not great, on leaving I attempted to go into the ladies again to find that nothing had been done and used sanitary towels were on the floor! My boyfriend went into the men's to find a male openly taking drugs! Avoid at all costs! Will not be returning to this establishment!
