“A Quiet Walk to leave the Bustle Behind”

The canal walk can be as short or long as you feel like - however it is such an re-invigorating place with seats along the way that you don't feel tired. There is a lot of wildlife too, friendly boat owners and some meadows at the end.

“walkers heaven”

what a fantastic canal the walks are very unusual along the waters edge.
there are barges and ducks all you need for a lovely walk
the open areas are clean and tidy and I felt safe walking in the evening.

Lovely setting, colourful with cafes and walks around the canal and markets there too. Original stalls too

“Beautiful walk”

The walk along the canal with the church opposite was incredible. We had an amazing day and the weather was beautiful. There were so many birds! Herons, swan, geese...

Peaceful and beautiful walk along the river. Feed the swans, Lovely boat trip. Relax and enjoy the narrow boats going by
