“Bancroft brilliant cruises!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

Great little cruise on a canal boat - would definitely recommend! We were on the first cruise of the day so had the boat to ourselves apart from another young family and elderly couple. The guide gave us lots of information about Stratford as we floated down river - absolutely fab!!

“We went on boat trip”

It was a 40 minute boat trip, no commentary but it was lovely to sit and watch the world go by for £5.50 each adult.

“Shakespeare Country”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

We have been to Stratford on many occasions and we will continue to revel in the historic beauty this place has to offer. With the birthplace of Shakespeare and the history that surrounds the town it truly is a magic place to visit. The shops and the cafe's & restaurants line the many streets filled with such varied shops. With a market, near the canal basin where the vibrant colour of the canal boats make a foreground to the famous Shakespeare Theatre, you can relax in the gardens and also have a ride on a canal boat . Fantastic parking for disabled people, which makes life easier with a wheelchair. In the area not far away which you could also visit is Ann Hathaway's house, the Heritage Motor Museum, Charlecote House. Good weather makes the day worthwhile. Cannot say a bad thing from my experience.

“A River to relax by”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

Although really busy on both sides of the river the feeling of calm is felt unlike a lot of other touristy places. Plus the various boats going up and down including the cruises give a forever changing view to look at and the local stalls give an other place to amble through and investigate.
