We went to a performance of Noel Coward's Present Laughter. It was great - the cast were excellent, and due to the proximity of the seating to the 'stage' it felt like we were almost part of the play.
The seats became uncomfortable after a while though and I would suggest taking something along to give yourself some lumbar support. Interval refreshments had to be bought from the bar in the Lazy Cow, which happened to be very busy, making it all very rushed. Some seasoned members of the audience had taken their own refreshments, and ate/drank in the auditorium while everyone else fought to the bar.
All in all, it was a really enjoyable evening but next time we go we will be loaded up with cushions, food and drink!
Oh - the booking process was a tad chaotic.
