Premier Inn Stratford Upon Avon Waterways Hotel

Hotel is brand new so very clean. Situated beside the canal. Very pleasant to sit outside on the bar terrace to watch the boats go by whilst having a drink. Just 5 minute walk into town centre.

Car parking just £1 for 24 Hours.

All staff very helpful.

Breakfast is £8.25 which is slightly dear but believe you can get a meal deal for £22 which is 3 course dinner, a drink and breakfast next day.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking canal.

Not all Hotel chains give you the knock down prices they advertise.
However, paying the going rate is fine if you get the service.
This new Premier Inn is worth the extra for the quality given.
All the staff where helpfull and gave the impression of pleasure.
The whole place looks, feels and smells like a new car!
Ideal as a base for exploring the area and family friendly.
A good bar, lounge and Restaurant with exelant food.
Under 20 min' walk into the centre or £3 a taxi if raining.

This is a new Premier Inn, so its modern and clean. I've stayed in many hotels of this chain over the years and they offer a brand standard so you know what to expect. Every so often you get a new one and its a lot nicer because of the modern features, this is an example of this.

They have fast track check in which appears to let you check on at a kiosk rather than with a person, which is a nice touch as I've queued at receptions at hotels for a long time before. I'd not booked so I saw a member of staff who was very helpful.

Parking is outside, it costs £1 for guests for 24 hours (12pm - 12pm) and is covered by CCTV at the hotel.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a 'canal view' which I imagine is a benefit if you are their for a leisure b...

This Premier Inn was in a fantastic location, a few minutes walk from the town. Having only opened a few months ago, it is lovely! Opening the doors out onto the patio, you can nearly touch the many canal barges as they pass through the lock.
The outstanding feature of this hotel, has to be the staff, they were incredibly helpful & friendly but were only too happy to go the extra mile to make sure our stay was fantastic.

Room Tip: Ask for room with a view of the canal

As the hotel is fairly new everything was clean and tidy. Staff friendly enough but seemed very busy all of the time.

Bit confused as to why when entering our room there were 2 extra beds set up!! Which meant we couldn't move! I would have asked for the two extra beds to be moved out of the room but the staff seemed very busy so i folded down one of the beds by myself to make a little extra room.

We didn't even attempt to eat in the restaurant for breakfast or dinner as it was extremely busy. But the town center is a 5 minute walk away and is bursting with lovely places to eat.

Overall had a fab weekend but think this was due to the location more than the hotel itself.

Room Tip: Request a canal view room!! :)
