“Brilliant!”
Reviewed 1 December 2012

Enjoyed our 2 day stay in a clean, comfortable, sizeable, air conditioned room overlooking the canal. Bonus to have the winter sun streaming through the window making the room very bright and welcoming. Hotel is lovely and quiet as it is built perpendicular to the main Birmingham Road reducing chance of traffic noise enormously. Very convenient hotel only 6 mins walk from Shakespeare's birthplace. Ample car parking on site at £1 per day. Staff were extremely friendly, informative and polite. Can highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Request a sunny room overlooking the canal :-D

This is a fairly new Premier Inn and has been built to a high standard, the setting is good very close to the town centre. Has its own parking £1 per day which is good. The rooms are modern and of good size as we would expect from a premier inn. The Thyme restaurant was very good, a pleasant change to the usual ajoining pub/restaurant. We had a very pleasant 3 day stay, were able to get the dates we wanted on the special offer price which was ideal and excellent value for money.

Reception welcoming and informative. Room clean and comfortable. Restaurant and bar nicely furnished and friendly helpful staff. Food was well cooked and presented. Car parking easy and only a short walk to the shops, museum and theatre.

I have stayed at several Premier Inn hotels but I have to say this is the best one so far. The bedroom was exceptionally clean, the bathroom was gleaming - not a mark to be seen. Staff were very friendly indeed without being pushy and as a solo female traveller I was made to feel safe and secure. If I had to fault anything it would be that as an avid coffee drinker I could have done with an extra sachet or two in the room but if that's all I can find to complain about it can't be a bad can it?

We also stayed at this hotel in June this year after spending 1night at Alverston Manor which was very nice but 4 times the price with no extra comfort.
The hotel is lovely and clean and very comfortable - we didn't use the restaurant facilities but they also looked nice and were always busy so they must be doing something right!
Perfect location for walking into town and also in the opposite direction to the Maybird shopping complex. And even though this hotel is on a busy road you don't really notice it once you are in your room.
We only stayed one night this time but would have loved to have stayed longer. The staff are helpful and very friendly, letting you know what is available without being pushy. The carpark does get very busy but we didn't have any problems getting parked on either of our visits and at just £1 per day we thought it was value for money.
We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room Tip: Book a Canal side room if possible

Booked through a premier inn deal, two nights for £89. Excellent value and a great location to discover Stratford upon Avon. Hotel appears to be pretty new with the hotel decor looking modern and clean. Small bar area and restaurant which was ideal for a few drinks. Staff are very friendly but without being overpowering, couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was pleasant. Parking is £1 for 24hrs. Town centre is a 5 min walk.

Would recommend this hotel and would stay here again without question!

We had an excellent 2 night stay, ate there on the first night which was very nice and also had breakfast on both days, plenty of choice and very enjoyable. We had a lovely room overlooking the canal, found all staff to be very efficient and friendly. Would definately recommend.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the canal
