Premier Inn Stratford Upon Avon Waterways Hotel
Certificate of Excellence

Although the car park is not free here, it is discounted for guests. Be aware that the spaced are a bit too narrow though. A plus is that there is a lift to each floor. It looks to be a newish build, and maybe this is why the rooms are a bit smaller than we are used to - though it might be because the only one of our youngsters was with us, and normally there are four of us in a family room. In our room there would not have been room for a fourth bed!

BEWARE at the other Stratford Premier Inn you have to cross the road for breakfast - at this one it is in the same building on the ground floor (a very big plus as it was raining hard when we went down to eat!).

WE stayed at this new hotel as a half way meeting point for family and it proved most suitable ,the location is great with plenty of parking and just a short walk into the centre of stratford . The hotel is very new and modern and the staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome . The only critisism we had was that we didnt book a table in the restaurant for our evening meal because of a long waiting time ! the hotel has over a hundred rooms and the restaurant has seating for sixty you do the maths .

We stayed here on the way home after our christmas break. We have stayed in many Premier Inn's but we found this to be one of the nicest that we have stayed in. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. I would imagine that in the summer it would be even better(if possible) as the canal runs along side it and this create a pleasant back drop.

A new hotel with excellent service from check-in through to restaurant, comfortable rooms, great value dining, and all within a short walk of the town centre. Automated check-in was efficient but will take some practice. The only thing missing was a fridge which would have greatly helped for storing food and drinks.

Room Tip: Ask for canalside room for better views and no traffic noise.

We stayed here over Christmas, the staff were fantastic, so good that we decided to go back for the new year. The food was great and we met the chef which was lovely. The location of this Premier Inn is better that that of the central one as this is based between the town and the Maybird shopping centre which is some of the larger retailers. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location with good parking. Dining facilities too small for the size of the hotel. Always too busy and there is not relaxing bar area as a result. Noisy machinery next to room 202 which made styling in the room during the daytime uncomfortable.
Left an iPod in the room under my pillow, my mistake, but, apparently it could not be found. I presume the room was made up for the next guest and so was surprised and disappointed it was not found under the pillow. I like to feel that people with access to guest rooms are trustworthy and this event has left wondering if that is the case. The item was left, not lost and I do not believe it simply vanished nor do I believe the room was left as I left it before the next guest arrived. My previous Premier Inn experiences have been excellent but this one allied to several staff members failing to call me back has left a sour taste.
In summary, great location, clean, tidy but be careful not to leave anything behind.

Room Tip: Avoid room 202 and its noisy machinery neighbour

Hotel highly recommended for location very short walk to Town centre and ease of parking. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. Self service check was easy and very quick. Good value for short stays at weekend.
