This is the place!
Warm, cosy & welcoming atmosphere - Paul is an excellent host & nothing is too much trouble for him. Clean & comfortable - and a great breakfast all cooked to order with vegetarian & other options & home made raspberry jam! We stayed overnight to see "Wolf Hall" @ RSC : Paul recommended a local restaurant for us & rang to book a table for us the evening before. And RSC is only 10 mins amble away. All in all, a very happy stay - thank you!

went to see david tennant in RII, having looked around at other places like travel lodge and prem inn me and my friend decided on hamlet house . one for the free wi fi and the free on site parking , that the others couldn't offer .
we were in room 4 , which is at the front of the house . comfy beds , ensuite bathroom with easy to use showers, freeview TV and tea and coffee .. what else can you ask for .
yes the road can be noisy at certain times of the day, you can't mark them down for that .
paul is a wonderful host, nothing is too much trouble. his breakfast is wonderful and all is local and freshly made .. on his wonderful square plates.
it takes only 5 mins to walk to the center of town and about 10mins to walk to the RSC.
wifi can be a bit patchy .. but when in Stratford-upon-Avon you should be walking around town and not sat in your room all day .
if and when i return i will be looking to book here first and paul was already working on a suggestion i gave him for the showers when i was checking out ..... oh and check out his fish tank ... it's wonderful.
so support the local B&B's once the prem inns and travel lodges turn up special places like this will just disappear .

It was husband Victor's birthday treat - tickets for David Tennant in Richard II at the RSC and a night stop on 24th October 2013 at Hamlet House - as seen a year ago on Four In a Bed! Being B&B owners ourselves and a fan of the show I could not resist making a reservation and we were so glad we did. Lovely room (#1) with small details that made it special, superb shower room and an excellent host that lived up to his tv appearance! We loved the bow tie. Sunny breakfast room with good choice of food - my herb omelette was, I hesitate to say, even better than mine! We love to visit Stratford and would certainly stay with Paul again. Thanks to Paul and his team.
Just a thought - the main stairs were quite steep but he does have a downstairs room.

Room Tip: Ask for one at the back of th property if you have problem with traffic noise. We could not hear t...

My wife and myself stayed at this B&B from the 29/9/13 to 3/10/13 and Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves the host was perfect in every way, If you needed something he would try to help in any way possible, and as with other reviews the bedrooms are very clean and comfortable, and the food at breakfast was excellent. It is a place I would recommend to any body and we would definitely return too.

Room Tip: Great location

Fantastic B&B. We stayed in Room 1 which is a beautiful room with an excellent bathroom. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. Cracking breakfast selection and all fresh. The owner Paul is really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, offering us advice on where to visit and places to eat we were assured of a perfect experience of Stratford -upon-Avon. The location is perfect for the centre and less than 10 mins walk from the RSC.

Room Tip: Only stayed in Room 1 but it was lovely.

We had tickets to the theatre and wanted a nice B&B within walking distance and with parking for our weekend away and this was great. I don't think the photos do it justice. The room was small but nicely furnished and the bathroom was modern and spacious. The owner was very knowledgable and if we hadn't already booked dinner etc he would have been able to advise us in that. I would recommend it.
