Such a joy to stay here for a couple of nights. Delightful rooms and first class breakfasts. And so relaxing. Pleasant walk into the town for theatre/dinner. Can't recommend too highly. We'll definitely be back.

Our first, but definitely not our last stay here. We stayed in Room 5, which was huge (with a wardrobe straight out of C S Lewis), a seriously comfortable bed and en suite with roll-top bath. The breakfast table was a work of art, and breakfast itself perfect with a selection of small fruits from the garden. There is also a large comfortable lounge and outdoor seating on the terrace to take advantage of. As others have stated the walk into Stratford was 12.5 minutes by Decima's timing and we set off with a local map with Decima's colour coding for architectural buildings, recommended places to eat and nice shops. It was lovely not to use the car for the weekend. Decima is also a font of knowledge about the regular RSC actors and recent productions. Overall a perfect weekend.

Cross O'Th' Hill Farm is a beautiful house, situated within walking distance (15 minutes) of Stratford town centre. The room we stayed in (as the rest of the house) was very lovely, decorated with flair, and had a beautiful, large, en-suite shower room. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the owners bent over backwards to accommodate some of our rather difficult requests. This is an oasis of calm but still within easy access of the Town. Perfect.

We stayed ahead of our son's graduation this week. We had a really nice stay and the breakfast was lovely. I could not recommend it more highly!
Our room was comfortable with a good sized bathroom and a dressing room.

We arrived here on a Friday evening stressed and very late (due to trying to get through M25 rush hour traffic and monsoon like weather)..., the hosts were both genial and calming, ordering a taxi quickly do we could get down to the theatre as soon as possible.

The house looks a little shabby chic from the outside but inside its lovely and our room (which had a little extra room with a spare bed) was large, well equipped, lovingly decorated and very comfortable.

Breakfast is taken around one large dining table but rather bizarrely the salt appeared to have gone missing and it took a while to find it!

It is a little out of town, which has the benefits that is lovely and quiet but whilst you might be able to walk in during daylight hours, I wouldn't recommend it at night!

My family and I stayed in this quintessentially lovely, family-run B&B last summer. The inn is in the main house which was part of a farm, originally, and has been run as an inn for two generations. We had two rooms, both of which were nicely decorated and furnished. The baths were also of high standard, and the views out of our windows across the fields toward town were quite special. The innkeepers are very helpful and offered us great suggestions for sights to see during our visit. We would love to return to this beautiful part of England and to stay in this very special inn.

How nice it would be if all B & Bs so spectacularly lived up to their five star reviews! I chose Cross O' The Hill farmhouse well in advance of a special theatre date at the Swan Theatre, needing two double rooms for one night only. Our daughter and her husband staked a claim to the room with a roll top bath with a view, which she thoroughly enjoyed in glorious Sunday morning sunshine, whilst we were more than happy with the elegant large room with the much photographed view of the charming church spire appearing across pretty meadows. Sadly, we forgot our wellies so had to forego taking the stroll so much enjoyed by others. Our charming hosts told us the history of the house, which explained the high ceilings and beautiful proportions of the parts of the house which are available to guests. It is no surprise that Decima is an artist, as the modern decor with a delightful mixture of old and new artefacts creates a stylish and relaxing ambience. The breakfast, spread on the big communal table in the elegant dining room, was so artistically presented it seemed a shame to eat it. I shall remember for some time to come those perfect pyramids of raspberries and blackberries with trails of their leaves on the table laid with unusual and beautiful glasses and china and ripe figs marching in a row, home made jams, several types of cereals with yoghurts and several bowls of nuts and dried fruits, orange juice that tasted freshly squeezed and a full English Breakfast, cleverly grilled and not to die for, and it all tasted as good as it looked. There is no doubt as to where we shall stay, if and when we next return to Stratford-upon-Avon.

Room Tip: Bedroom No 3 has the roll-top bath Bedroom No 5 has a large shower room with his and her hand basin...
