“Amazing B&B in central Stratford-upon-Avon”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

The most wonderful B&B in Stratford. A beautifully modernised house that is just high quality in every sense. The decor, food, and the attention to detail with the service is a joy. Tony is the most amazing host, nothing is too much trouble. The afternoon tea was delicious, the breakfast would grace any 5* hotel! Our party requested a restaurant recommendation and it was superb. 9 Church Street if you want a fantastic meal. Can't give this place enough praise, Perhaps I shouldn't be so enthusiastic about Cherry Trees because I might find it fully booked the next time we will stay there!

Room Tip: All rooms are superb.

This luxury boutique B&B situated on the river just a short walk from town, is just delightful, with every detail well thought out. The hosts, Tony and Royd do more than go that extra mile, absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and spotless. I'm not usually a breakfast eater but couldn't resist Royd's delicious food, served just as you will like it. Tony even managed to obtain tickets to a show in London that we were unable to source! Many thanks Tony and Royd for taking such wonderful care of us during our stay in Stratford and making suggestions for site seeing in the area.

My husband booked the garden suite at cherry trees as an anniversary surprise and what a wonderful surprise it was! There are 3 suites available and the garden view suite has a view of such a pretty garden! The suite is large, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. On arrival you are treated to a pot of tea and the most delicious home made cake that we have ever eaten! ( made by one of the owners! ). It is a short stroll into the town centre and parking is available on site. Breakfast was a very positive experience too! Real coffee, real freshly squeezed orange juice, home made granola and home made bread to name just a few of the quality things available!. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. This is a real gem in Stratford and we will definitely be returning soon!

Arrived to a very warm welcome from Tony with a pot of tea and lovely cake. We stayed in the "Garden Suite" which had a beautiful outlook onto the landscaped garden, very peaceful. Room was outstanding with seating area and added conservatory it was a great bonus :0). Breakfast was excellent too. Great location, short walk to all restaurants, theatre etc. would definitely book this again. Ian & Dee

Utterley wonderful! We stayed one night in Tiffany suite and it was perfect! Friendly and warm welcome straight into our suite. We'd booked for an early dinner at the Rooftop Restaurant so had not had any lunch, the delicious home made cake that Tony gave us helped fill the gap whilst we checked in and were shown the vast room and its facilities.

The suite was huge! I wish we had stayed longer! Tasteful decor and luxury furnishings. A lounge area with an additional sofa to the one in the main room. Roberts radio that I never got chance to use and plenty of storage space. This is a very well planned suite - the design is certainly thinking of everything a guest could want - well this guest anyway!

When we returned through the murky mist after watching Bring Up The Bodies at the Swan Theatre, we were grateful of the short distance we had to walk! Once in, warm and cosy, it didn't take long before we fell asleep. The bed must be one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Both myself and the hubbie slept all the way through the night. I've not had a good night sleep like this since the Club Room at Crowne Plaza Manchester! The previous week, I hardly slept due to a small and uncomfortable bed in a chain hotel up the road (don't worry, I'll get ropund to that review!).

In the morning, we were able to shower under the rain shower and make use of the robes provided. We were so refreshed after the good sleep that even the foggy weather couldn't have made us down beat!

Plenty of tea and coffee meant I was happy! My biggest bug bear when staying away from home is when you get hardly any milk - this was not the case at Cherry Trees. A good sized jug of fresh milk in the fridge. Something else I found very good was a big bottle of stil water. Many places seem to forget people like to drink cold drinks and I normally bring a bottle of water with me. Not here! So happy. A simple detail but one that meant so much.

Breakfast- well having read the reviews here, I knew I wanted to try the granola. Mmm mmm! Breakfast was efficient and tasty. The breakfast room probably has a great view but the fog wasn't letting us see! Breakfast was a very relaxed atmosphere with the two other couples also eating at the same time and Tony was very attentive and chatty. Such a refreshing way to be! I will invest in one of those tablet thingabobs that Tony was talking about! Bacon was our favourite part- very good quality! Very well set up for the day and probably over doing it on tea (I can't help myself!), we packed away our bags and set off for home.

I'd recommend staying here if you are in Stratford. Perfection! Thanks!

Room Tip: We stayed in Tiffany and it was huge!

What's not to like, Suite, we stayed in a lovely bedroom with an en-suite shower room and our own conservatory with the TV, fridge and comfy chairs. We then had an exit to a perfect garden with a pond.
The fittings are all Quality and nothing is to much trouble.
You go upstairs for breakfast which is very freshly cooked and served promptly and with a smile.
Extra toast, tea, coffee ect is available.
Its just a class place run by very nice people.
Location is excellent with its own parking just one hundred yards from the main River side, All I can say is you get what you pay for and this is worth every penny, if this is number two in Stratford, number one must be a palace

Room Tip: All 3 suites are excellent

From the moment we arrived on a Friday afternoon at this small but charming B&B just across the Avon river from the RSC, and were greeted with a silver pot of freshly made leaf tea and a slice of marmalade cake on arrival, we were charmed. Our ground floor room, with its own separate TV area, porch (with umbrella), excellent shower, and very comfortable bed, was perfect for the price. Our full English breakfast, with the very special Drambuie porridge (raisins soaked in whisky) in a sunny room, with fresh ground coffee and attentive service, set us up beautifully.

Room Tip: Two of the rooms look onto the garden and have little sunny spots to rest and drink tea in, and admi...
