My girlfriend and I stayed in Madison House B&B in May 2007. We found the B&B through the internet and the review on Tripadvisor looked very positive. We checked in early and as our room wasn't ready yet, we had to leave our luggage downstairs. When we returned in the evening, our luggage had kindly been moved to our room which we appreciated. Our room was on the small-ish side and the en-suite bathroom was definitely small. That said, everything was sparkling clean and everything we needed was provided for. Rosie (the host) was very friendly and helpful. Her cooked breakfasts were splendid (see the other reviews of her breakfasts) and we enjoyed tucking in.
The B&B has good off-street parking. The B&B is situated about 15mins walking distance from the centre of town, and next time we might possibly book something closer to the town centre. All in all our experience was very positive given the cheap relatively rates of the B&B, and I would recommend the B&B for travellers spending one or two nights in Stratford looking for affordable yet decent accommodation.
