We came for lunch on a Sunday, and were offered a space in the adult only area - which suited us fine.
First impressions were pretty good, it looked like a bit of time and effort had been put into decor, but these quickly got worse.
Although the decor did look to have had a bit of time and effort made on it, there details were lacking.
Things like clean salt and pepper pots would have made a better impression - and they definitely looked like they'd not been cleaned recently - dried on ketchup takes a bit more time to achieve the solidity we found.
The food wasn't bad though, not great, but not bad.
And the service is friendly.
I wouldn't rush back myself, but I imagine it's a really nice relaxed place to take kids for sunday dinner
