A great Inn and full of history, so steep stairs and creaky floorboards are the norm. I stopped one night with my wife here and I am very glad I did, this is a well run Inn and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. The bedroom was No.8 and named Anne Boleyn so the wife was duly warned of Anne's demise she went quiet for some reason, we had a four poster bed which was great but the mattress was a little lumpy but we both slept well after a long day at Warwick Castle, the bathroom was adequate but the only thing wrong here was the extractor fan would work better if it had been cleaned out , but when saying this every where was very clean, all the usual facilities tea and coffee makers and a up to date Television, the bed side lamps only one was working and both really need new shades and one lamp cable requires a better connection .
Breakfast was included in our stay and was very good, the décor of the dining room was quite rightly in keeping with this historic property.
Location of this Inn is perfect for both the town and the Castle, with a short walking distance. I would like to thank the Manager Sweetie and her team for a very enjoyable stay, and we will be making another stay within the near future.

Stayed here overnight on 21st.Serptember. Single room up steep flights of stairs.Very low doorway-watch your heads. Room small, but cosy, large TV, bed comfortable. Wash basis, installed but no toilet- this down corridor. All parking had been taken up, despite the claims there was ample,I had to park on street 2hours max and was worried about safety of my classic car.breakfast hot and well served. Unless parking improves won't stay there again-sorry.

Room Tip: insist on parking space being reserved.

This is a very interesting place to stay with a lot of character and an array of things to look at. The creaking doors and floors and quirky small doors all add to its charm. The owner and all of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for a day exploring the castle.

A couple of areas for improvement are the mattress was a bit lumpy and the window box was full of cigarette ends.

We would definitely stay here again and a big thank you to the owner and staff for making us feel so welcome

Stayed here on 4th September. Situated opposite Warwick castle and only a short walk into city centre. Beautiful hotel in appearance with lots of Tudor features and suits of armour on landing. Helpful staff and clean but dated room. I stayed in the Katherine Parr room which was the size of a small bathroom. The toilet and bathroom was done the creaky hall with no hot water in shower. Room was like a sauna so luckily didn't need to traipse down the hall in the middle of the night. Cheap cheerful interesting hotel with nice staff and good breakfast. Reasonable value but too hot in the summer!

The Tudor House is really an experience in time travel! The building is as the name suggests old and lovely and as one would expect sloping floors/ceilings/small doors etc, this adds to the charm. The suits of armour high on the balcony have been there many years! The Henry V111 room has a 4 poster bed which was comfortable and a welcome tray, the sheets were immaculate but the throw obviously is used by all which is a little disconcerting. The room and bathroom were clean/bath with a shower attachment on the taps so not able to stand for a shower. The windows were secondary glazed obviously to stop traffic noise, but as the room was so hot and no fan, the windows were open so we had all night traffic noise. Past occupants of the room obviously have smoked!! but stuck their cigarette out of the window using the window box as an ash tray, perhaps a few flowers instead of fag ends might be more appealing. The evening meal was nice although a glass of wine was not available only by the bottle; the staff were helpful and friendly but breakfast was a let down with the scrambled egg overcooked and inedible, no choice of bread for toast. A good location if you are visiting Warwick castle as you can leave your car at the front of the Inn and walk saving £6 car parking. Within walking distance of the town. Overall a nice place to stay and is 3* but needs a bit of TLC.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front might have traffic noise as the Inn is on a main road, there are rooms facing the...
