“Beautiful gardens by the water and view of Castle”
Reviewed 31 August 2013

If you are in Warwick town centre, please do take the 5 minutes walk down Mill Lane and visit this perfect garden. It is right by the water in a quiet corner adjacent the castle. Apart from a beautiful garden stocked with lovely flowers and bushes, you will also see a quiet pool of water with the wild flowers on old piers of a demolished bridge as a perfect backdrop. The view of the castle from the wooden benches in the garden is just stunning and you can enjoy the garden as long as you like for the 2GBP entrance fee, which goes to charities displayed at the cottage. The whole place is very friendly and we even talked to the cottage resident and gardeners about the plants. Yes, we will certainly visit it again every season and skip the crowded castle!

“Gorgeous little gardens!”
Reviewed 30 August 2013 via mobile

It might only take you 15 minutes to get around these gardens but they're lovely, cheap to see and you can take some beautiful photos so if you have a bit of spare time while in Warwick I recommend them!

“Lovely view of the castle”
Reviewed 24 August 2013

For just £2 you can enter the pretty riverside gardens and have a wonderful view of Warwick Castle in its majesty, towering above you on it's cliff. You'll also see the ancient, ruined bridge over the river, once a busy thoroughfare into the city. It!s easy to imagine medieval Warwick from this vantage point. And to get there, you go via charming Mill Street, resplendent with timbered black and white cottages
