This is how a tearoom should be. Cosy, good service, excellent food, home make cakes and biscuits in a separate area where you pay, reasonable price-some items should be £1 less. What more could you want?

We Motorhomed into Warwick in need of feeding and happened across Wylie's little hidden gem of a cafe offering more than just a simple, tasty nourishing meal. It has a relaxing atmosphere that could encourage you to spend much more time here than you intended and when you come to pay in the adjoining shop you are tempted by an array of tasty treats to take away with you. We visited in early December and were treated to a great seasonal theme to the cafe's decorations.

We regularly visit Wylie's Restaurant for a light lunch or tea. The service is efficient and friendly and the food is filling and wholesome. Plenty of tea in the pot as well. It represents good value for money although the small cafe can get a bit crowded due to its popularity . Enjoy the old teahouse decor, which is quite charming. You pay inn the adjoining sweet shop and will almost certainly be tempted to buy some extra treats as you leave.

Wylie's doesn't pretend to be... it is. Hidden away, this small, old-fashioned tea room is a great place for lunch or afternoon tea. Its always busy but never full - we have dropped in on an irregular basis many times over the years. Food, coffee and tea are all freshly prepared and are excellent. Service is pleasant and efficient.
Try it if you want an easy trip back to simpler times - the ambiance is cosy and natural feeling, rather than contrived or modern.

Old fashioned tea room with decoration that is genuine. Best place in Warwick for a quick cuppa or a lunch. Food is freshly made and worth the very short wait. Added benefit of open firesin the winter. very cosy!
