This hotel is really something, set back from the road and a long drive way leads you up to the Mansion House. The setting is really beautiful, with the actual buildings just as impressive. On arrival we were early and our room wasn't ready yet but we could sort out all the paperwork and were offered the use of the spa facilities or go and sit in the bar. We chose to go into Warwick, one returning our room key was handed straight to us! We stayed in Mansion Room 62 and we couldn't be more pleasantly surprised with the size of the room. It was extremely generous with a separate sofa are and huge bath! It is not often you find this in just your standard double. We dined in the hotel and received excellent service, with all members of staff going out of their way to be friendly and accommodating. We had booked with wowcher and it offered us a free bottle of wine with our dinner and we were offered this straight away!! There's even a resident cat that lives in the bar/reception area that was as equally as friendly as the staff. The restaurant was quiet and was perfect for our relaxing night away.

Overall it was an excellent stay, we felt completely at home here and it was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel - even if you didn't want to visit Warwick or the surrounding areas you could quite happily spend a weekend there using the spa facilities, walking in the grounds and enjoying the delicious food!!

Room Tip: We've only stayed in Mansion Room 62 but it was beautiful with a view over looking the grounds a...

Nice romantic hotel with great scenery and a history dating back to the the times of the crusades. The service was homey. They won't sit you for dinner until your table is ready and your order will be taken while you have a drink in the lounge confortably seated in a sofa. The room we got at first was a bit disappointing with no window. except a small opening on the ceiling..but at our request they changed it. On the other hand, no wifi accessible in the rooms and nearly no network coverage available..Of course, you need a car as it is far from downtown. So if you are having a relaxed leasure trip, it is agreat place to be.

Room Tip: ask for a room with a view

This was a birthday treat for my husband, 2 nights away, including the hire of a Morgan for the day. The setting of Wroxall Abbey is amazing, with an impressive approach and at the end of the long drive the hotel does not disappoint, it is just what you want your 'away from it all' weekend-break, country pad to look like!

Our room was huge with a gigantic, comfy bed and lovely views. We ate in the hotel dining room the first night and both the service and quality of food was very high. We did intend to go out and explore the following night but after a busy day visiting the Morgan factory (in Malvern Link, Worcs), we were really looking forward to just chilling at the hotel! Again, our dinner was superb and good value for such delicious food. The service was excellent and our barman offered knowledge of both gin and nearby attractions, what more could you ask for?!

We managed to squeeze in use of the spa facilities (to feel less guilty about all the eating), and we walked around the beautiful grounds which have an interesting history. This must be such a wonderful setting for weddings!

We would definitely like to return again one day.

My husband and I got married at Wroxall on 21st August 2013. It was a small intimate occasion, however everything about our day was perfect. The grounds and hotel are beautiful and everybody commented on how amazing the setting was. The staff at Wroxall are very attentive and polite. They ensured everything was just right for us, making us feel very relaxed.
We made use of lots of the facilities, including the pool and spa, and I had a few treatments which were really enjoyable. A few of our guests had spa treatments and commented on their fantastic spa experience too. The food was outstanding too. We would definitely recommend Wroxall to anyone.

We stayed at wroxall abbey overnight for a wedding we were attending.

wroxall is a amazing setting for a wedding and the weather was fab which made for great pictures but i must admit a winter wedding would be so lovely here. The chapel is so romantic as is the abbey.

The staff are so nice and so welcoming, and wanted everyone to enjoy there stay.

Our room was beautiful and had a great view, we felt we woke up in Downton Abbey:) My husband said the Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice, unfortunately i did not make breakfast as slightly indulged to much the night before:)

Thankyou to you all at Wroxhall for making a great day really special with lovely memories.

Room Tip: we had room 61 in the abbey lovely room great view

Had a great weekend with friends, enjoyed walking a round the grounds too and learning more about Christopher Wren. Disappointed I couldn't get a table for dinner as I was hoping to eat there but the bar was very good when I got back from the local gastro pub.

Room Tip: Book you meal when you make your booking or you might not get a table, I didn't but the pub 10 m...
