We stayed for one night the room was very small with stains on the walls and the radiator in the bathroom was covered in mould! The swimming pool was cold and a LOT smaller than it looks in any picture... Service in the bar was good. Dinner was awful, starters were tasteless and fillet steak definitely wasn't fillet steak with soggy cold sides!! Breakfast was completely unattended by staff when we arrived and turned out to be self service buffet of cold tasteless food sitting in its own fat!! It wasn't an expensive stay but certainly doesn't live up to its star rating!!

My wife and I stayed here for one night and really enjoyed our evening meal. It was certainly worth paying extra for the accompanying wines which had been selected to go with the various courses. We were impressed by the dining room, but found the furnishings in the lounge somewhat eclectic !
Our bedroom was fine, apart from the decor which lacked a bit of "taste" and the hairdryer was poor. Breakfast was ample and well-cooked, although choice was limited.
Overall, however, we had an enjoyable stay !

I returned with my husband to my old school and it was great to wander round the house and grounds. We had a very comfortable room although there was a mishmash of furnishings (I remember it as the san!) We had dinner and breakfast in Sonnets which was ok. Nice restaurant, decent service, average food. Overall we had a good stay and would come back.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Wroxhall Abbey Hotel. The staff were all eager to look after us and so friendly. The seven course taster menu was sublime, the food was delicious and the wine perfect. Our room was comfortable and very clean. This hotel has wonderful character and we shall be returning again.

Room Tip: We were in the main house which was lovely I would not want to be in the annexe

This Hotel is absolutely amazing, worth ever penny and more for the stay at this lovely venue, the purpose of my visit was for the Wedding Preview event and the Wedding Fayre yesterday.
The Staff are exceptional and I am still persuading my Fiance to have our Wedding here; my advice to anyone looking for a beautiful Hotel or Wedding venue, Dont Look No Further than Wroxall Abbey. I haven't even mentioned the restaurant however it is that touch of heaven in your mouth and tummy.

Wroxall Abbey is a lovely hotel which benefits from a vibrant weddings trade but during the week appears to have rooms available. A lovely setting with good facilities, very good food and very restful atmosphere. A good 4 star hotel and a worthwhile find.

Stayed for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, lovely hotel, couldn't fault the restaurant, service or food all of which were excellent, the bar had no atmosphere and was not manned after our meal, our room had a beautiful view and was large unfortunately the bed wasn't particularly comfortable and the pipe work made noises throughout the night ... Staff were all very proper but not overly friendly apart from one waiter who did make us feel comfortable.
