Love this place. Great pub with wonderful friendly staff.

Fantastic food. The fish finger sandwich is just lovely. All other food looks great too.

Definitely worth a visit.

Headed to the wild boar today following a last minute family visit and ordered lunch. We all had the roasts, pork and beef and it was fantadtic, so yummy! And great value too. Can't recommend it enough. Great selection of beer too, my other half loves the ales they have.

We went for my husband's birthday as he's a real ale fan and he wasn't disappointed. Great that you can actually see the beer being brewed.
We had Pieminister Pies, always good with us. There were only three to choose from however. I would have given 5 star if the choice was bigger. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We went on a Friday night when they host a live music evening which was well worth £5 entry price.

This is our local so we are lucky to have a traditional pub round the corner. No fruit machines, soft music, good beer and a range of food usually available. Worth trying the Pieminster pies. Very relaxed atmosphere, well patronised by locals. There is a large function room for live music enthusiasts, comedy nights and bookings taken for parties. Outdoor area with hops growing over the trellis.
