Lovely place to stay set in a very pleasant area. The room was clean, fresh and well decorated that just felt right. I would definitely recommend staying there and would love to go back for another weekend away. Only let down is the price of the breakfast, £24 for two English breakfasts is a bit steep. Please don't be put off by this as it is a warm welcome and freindly place to stay.

I stayed for one night in one of the Rose & Crown's rooms on the square. I was really impressed with the size & facilities in the room. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable (a rare thing in hotels I find).

The dinner & breakfast the following morning were both freshly cooked, piping hot and really good quality and the staff were all friendly and welcoming.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone & would happily stay there again if I visit the area again.

Myself and my friend came here to stay, whilst attending a wedding reception at Warwick Castle! Great location in the Market Square!
As soon as we walked in, we were greet with a warm welcome! And though we had to go unto the main pub area to check in, we were served straight away!
We were located in the new rooms. Our bags were carried for us, and as soon as we entered the room, we were a little blown away! We asked for a twin, and got 1 double bed, and a fold out sofa bed, almost a double in size. The only downside to this was the fold out mattress was a bit springy and thin.
But everything else was beautifully decorated with taste, and quality furnishings, and the room was big, light and airy!
The bathroom was lush, with a shower, and a posh bathtub, Jack and Jill sinks, and again larger than your average hotel bathroom!
Just a shame we didn't have time to relax in the tub!
We loved it!...more than exceeded our expectations!

I would have liked to have seen a phone in the room, as we were seperate from the rest of the pub, in case we needed anything, not that we did!!

Breakfast was quality again, service was faultless! Had a full English, which was much needed after the evening celebrations, would have liked to have seen a little more on the plate for the price. But not disappointed!

Parking was available, not on site but a minute round the corner in the multi storey, for £6 for the whole night, being locked at 8pm. We didn't need the car, as everything was walking distance, and felt secure that is was locked up for the night!

All the staff were helpful, from prior phone calls, to the morning after, and though we were a little late checking out, it was no issue!

Thank you to Suzie and the team at The Rose and Crown! Xxx

this is not the fist time me and my partner have been to the rose and crown in fact we love it so much we know are regulars and go at least once a month !!!!! what can I say on arrival you get the friendly staff who are always smiling show you to your room ...the rooms are stylish warm and in fact gawjus!!!! I would ask for room 11 huge bathroom with jack and jill sink large shower and a free standing bath to die for !!!! (you cant stay with out having a romantic bubble bath !!!) located in the most perfect place as you can just park the car up and there it stays all week end as everything is in walking distance and right in market square.....The food is gawjus I would advise on the cold meats platter so nice ....atmosphere is fantastic staff cant help you enough big open fire so even when the weather is awful you can still have a good time as your all cosy and warm in front of the fire with your nice glass of wine /cider ......breakfast is top notch just what you need to start your day of exploring .....me and my partner work a great deal so when we just need to get away this place is one brilliant retreat....we love rose and crown!

I've stayed here before but this was a different experience. The room was nice and very convenient but..... Oh dear staff need a lesson in service !!!

We arrived in Warwick at 1.15 and called to see if we could check in and also to see where we can park as there's no parking here. I received a half hearted response - check in at 2 and you can park on the street as there's no parking meter fees on Sunday. Half hearted as the girl I spoke to should have offered to allow us to leave our bags in a room allowing us to at least relax in Warwick without our bags left in a car. She should have then taken my name to make sure the room was ready at 2 as she knew we were in Warwick. She could have then explained that it's free to park on Sunday but then we would have to move our car or pay the meter at 9am on Monday.

We arrived at 2.15 greeted at the bar which again was a bit apathetic. The girl disappeared to get someone else to deal with it as she made a coffee - she didn't say I'll just get someone to show you to your room etc which was just rude. Oh and guess what the room wasn't even ready !!

The other gripe is we stayed here before and one of the attractions was that we were staying AT THE ROSE AND CROWN and not at the annex around the corner. So I wasn't expecting to be put in a room in a separate building. It really should have been made clear at the time of booking or at confirmation.

Nice place but oh dear the service was really naff. Will probably stay somewhere else next time as I do think service is important and there are plenty of other places to choose from.

Room Tip: Be aware you may end up in the annex which is ok but not what we were expecting

We had lunch here on a Monday. 2 courses for £12 or 3 for £15, so great value. Food was tasty and nicely presented. Attentive and friendly service. The weather was lovely so we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine (it's just off the main square).
