We chanced upon the Brethrens kitchen when making a break in our journey north. Very glad we did, theploughmans wasexcellent with good helpings of bread, salad, chutney and salad plus a pork pie. The toastie was hot, generously filled and came with a salad. Teapot was large enough for several cups.Service and loo excellent too. Ony complaint was when we did return on our journey home, it was to find it was closed on a Monday, so we will have to go again fo a sausage sandwich!
